asking out
fuck. Theres this chick i wanna ask out, im IMing her right now, and i cant think of anything to say. any suggestions? nothing is coming and i need something to say to get this off my chest. And no, im not gonna say "would you like to go out on a date with me" because that is totally off from my character. Something slightly more mysterious/ inconspicuous. fucking urgent. help?

Re: asking out
"Meet up with me sometime, and I'll show you who I really am."
One time, this girl I met at a party added me to her MSN list afterwards saying she wanted to talk to me but was too afraid. I asked her why she was afraid, and she said because of the stuff she had heard about me. I said "Meet up with me sometime, and I'll show you who I really am."
Man, sometimes a shitty reputation really works in your favour, I just thought that was one of the most suave things I've ever said.

"Me have stick"
"You have hole"
"Me want put Stick in Hole, OOOG"
Cavemen had it easy...Shit, they had it easier than that. They could just grab a cavegirl and assbang her whenever they wished. No lawsuits, no friends coming to give you a luau...

"i haven't seen you in a while. do you wanna catch up sometime?"
i think she will feel less threatened if its just a "hang out" kinda thing. i dunno.

Re: asking out
Even if it is out of your character just ask her anyway, chances are she'll say yes. you'll refine and hone your skills as you go, at first its always a little rough.

It's online, don't even worry about it.
"Hey, would you like to see [movie] with me on [day]?"
Hell, copy and past it.

Re: asking out
mmkay. first off, thanks for the input. second, i wrote comments for all that gave me something to say. if you wish to tell me something else to say, do it.
Righteous: Thats way too old fashioned for me man.
Noc: At first i was like sweet, im using this, but then I tried to think like she would and i thought it would seem like the rage she knows and (perhaps) likes is a charade. so....im thinking of how to change this.....um.....
TheDragon: I love you.
Spunky: from past experiences of asking out chicks all casual like, they never take the fucking hint that its a fucking date.
LifeJunkie: Shes not some chick i met online, I know her in real life too. were buds. but never to the awkward "do you think well ever be more than just friends?" point. I flirt and all kinds of shit with her, which she seems to respond well to.

Re: asking out
Here's some advice: Be a man and ask her on a date in person and not online.

Re: asking out
pretend you are mentally "deficient" and do it like donnie darko.
or simply say "i like you. do you want to go out with me?"
and if she gives you some bullshit then your too good for her anyway.
if i get an excuse i'm over her in 5 seconds flat. i love having no emotions...

But when you tag Big Grok's sister and he comes to your cave with a club bigger than you, a lawsuit probably starts sounding pretty good.

Re: asking out
if a guy was asking ME out online, first he would have to build up to it with some flirting. which i assume you've been doing. so lets cut to the chase. the inclination is to be like, "i want to go on a date with you," but its better not to straight out say that. this may sound stupid, but make yourself sound really cool. like pretend you are already going to do something thats totally the shit and describe it and kind of make her jealous. and when she expresses interest, just be like, "you can come too."

I tried copying and pasting, and she is confused lol. When is [movie] playing, and what is it about.

Re: asking out
I would just like to say that everyone here except for the guy who asked the question and the one who said he had no emotion are now dieties(SP?) to whom I will pay tribute. Finally I have some people on my freakin side in my situation. RagingPussy, I'm in the same boat pal, let me know how it turns out, what strategy you went with, etc.
Spiffy, back then they(according to acrchaeologists) did not care too much about family relations, their life was eat, shit, make babies, eat, shit, make babies. Love was a concept yet to be grasped by their still somewhat simpler brains, or so I've heard. Sorry, I know it was meant as a joke, but personally I'd rather deal with a guy with a big stick than a judge any day. Peace out.
PS. Sorry to hijack the topic, but any girl who wants to reply to this can. Lets suppose that you were afraid of being hurt (emotionally) by a guy, so you tried to avoid him to prevent from falling too deeply for him. Then he showed up everytime you went to the movies because of information leaked by sources unbeknownst to you, would that (depending on if he(I for those of you who are confused by the wording of this) said all the right things) help you gain trust and develop feelings you could no longer ignore, or would that just freak you out?

Re: asking out
Well, if a woman were to do that to me, that'd freak the shit out of me. Some women think stalker attributes are cute though...

Re: asking out
to firebird: you requested to know how its going with me and my hot bitch: Im on a 4 day weekend right now because finals ended early. I IMed this chick (who we'll call RHB for Rage's Hot Bitch) and started talking about school and shit. I changed the subject to this chick at school i know that acts totally different around other people than she does by herself. So we talked about her, and I said "you know what RHB, Id like to see what your really like alone" She kinda got defensive, but we set up a "lets get ona bus and see where it takes us" date for saturday. I basically took Noc's idea, but i changed it to make her interested. So all is well in Rage's life at the moment. Id like to hear how its going with you man.

Re: asking out
All goes well Rage, we went to the movies this weekend, although it wasn't a "e Date "e and it was a pop in sort of thing. I scared the shit out of her at first becaue I just walked up silently behind her and then started talking, but she realized it was me she calmed down. It was good, I think that I did pretty well on building a little bit more trust, her friend and sister who were there say I did well so I'm gonna have to take their word on it. I'm hoping to go somewhere where we can actually talk soon. But it all depends on my wording of the request, the girl is one of a kind(at least as far as people around here go) and definetly has very delicate emotions. I've been racking my brain over how I might go about sliding the request in. Its all good for now, I can live another month without being her boyfriend, maybe longer if I really must.
PS.jojabr, which mental disorder to you have? Terets (SP, schitzophrenia, or just plain straight out pyschosis? and Hexadecimal, would it really be all that stalkerish? I don't think so, but...thats just me. I've had a girl who stalked me and it was somewhat different.

Re: asking out
If you are going to take her to a movie, describe the movie in a really good way and make it sound like the best thing ever. Then say something like "you wanna come with?" You could do the same for a resturaunt, describe how good the food is.
But hell this is coming from a 13 year old so do whatever the fuck you want

Re: asking out
Whatever1, usually I let her pick the movie, I don't try to choose. She generally has pretty good taste in movies so I can trust her not to pick chick flicks and stuff like that. She's kinda almost gothic, but without the overdone makeup and the freak level, sorry if that offends anyone. As for a restaurant, I think we all know how good McDonalds is which right now is the only place either of us can afford. Good ideas though. Using that strategy seems like it would alleviate some of the awkwardness, make it a little less tense. I think I have it in the palm of my hand now though, all I've gotta do is make my move. Might be until the last weekend of this month till I can see her however, so I have alot of time to plan my move, I'll probably just go with one of the classics on that though. Peace out
PS. Her mom scared the ever-livng bejesus out of me, she told me that we might be related through a relative a few generations back, but once I regained skin color I checked everything out through the courts and internet resouces and its all good. I'm gonna hold that against her mom forever though. That was the first very not cool thing she has done, but the girl had the same reaction as me when her mom said that, so I'm taking that as a very good sign. ok, talk to ya'll later, I'm tired as a mofo, and I've still got mathwork to do, so...later.
Edit: Fixed stupid mistake
