Every now and then I occasionally get a sharp, very acute almost stabbing pain in my balls. It only happens when I'm sitting and I wear briefs (and they're not tight). Could someone give me some idea if this is normal?

if it is only sporadic, sounds to me like it could be epididimitis. you should go get it checked by your doctor. and they will do an ultrasound. its all pretty good. specially if you have a female doctor rubbing warm gel onto your nuts for the ultrasound

Is it possible to fake symptoms of epididimitis? Im lonely...

I was lucky in getting a female doctor, but think about all the male doctors out there.

Is this normal to have happen at 15?

I also discovered it also hurts when I just touch the side of my left testicle. I have checked for a lump but found nothing but extreme pain.

Could someone post a link or write up the symptoms of epididimitis for me please? It hurts like hell.

it's VERY common. i had it at your age. its a fucking pain in the ass...well, the balls.

the epididimus is located at the top of your balls. so if that's where it hurts chances are its epididamitis. i guess the tubes could go furhter down.

I think I know what you're talking about. I don't know if it is related to age, but I'm 15 too and I've had it happen once or twice. From what I remember it had a slight pain (perhaps just in my mind) all the time, but if you touched the sack from the back or side it was a sharp pain. I talked to my doctor about it, and he said it was something along the lines of the individual testes entangling. I think he also said that it can be minor, which is common, but it can also be a worse case, which might escalate if left alone. Your doctor will be able to tell you which one it is. Mine just told me to take some aspirin, and keep an eye on it, and I was back to normal within a day or two.

If this sounds like your situation, I'd go see your doctor. Don't be embarassed or anything, it's their job, they've seen it all before. Good luck!

^ Yea, no shit!!! it can get WAY worse. i had that whenever i was 11 and my left nut grew to the size of a tennis ball. It hurt worse then anything I ever felt in my life and I had to have it taken out.\
