im just a regular kinda guy, i drink and smoke like to fight and have done more than my fair share of dodgey shit and like to enjoy the occasional narcotic or two every now and agian.... maybe im not so regular

heres the problem ...

about a week ago i started going out with this girl we were close friends for a while then things just kind of progressed, shes the typical "girl next door" smart sexy comes from a good family doesnt smoke or do drugs and drinks occasionally and then there's me "ghetto child". The problem is she doesnt know about all the stuff i get up to in my spare time and i dont bring this kind of thing up when were together, i treat her as best i can but it is gettin harder to hide the stuff im into from her, and theres only so many times i can say yea i was jus having coffee with the guys when im off ripping sum pipes. i know i sound like an ashole hidding shit from her but despite myself i actually have feelings for her i dontknow what these feeling are but i dont wanna loose her so im kinda in a fucked up situation here, i tried giving it all up but it didnt last very long and i dont wanna indtroduce her into the stuff im into because yet again it doesnt feel like the right thing to do soo i turn to the wisdom of totse for sum suggestions.

You have to make the choice, it seems: drigs or the girl. You seem smart because you don't want her to be exposed to what you do. You could do good by coming clean to her, and working from there.

If you can't QUIT (or won't), then do her a favor, and LET HER KNOW,AND LET HER GO!!! You can easily find another girl who is compatable with you, who will do narcs and the rest of your sh_t, and who either doesn't have a life now, or who doesn't give a sh_t about ever getting one! Love, Venus.

Sounds familiar. I'm a not a nice boy to say the least. The girls I've dated however are mostly your typical sheltered suburban daddy's girls.

You can be honest with her about your life style without exposing her to it. It's quite easy actually. Just tell her the stuff you're into, and tell her you're not introducing her into that world. Then tell her you don't really like to talk about it so that it's understood that it stays private. You can find a common ground and work out an understanding from there. Naturally she’ll have questions, but as long as you promise your being faithful, it’s not necessary to tell her every little detail about Friday night.

In my experience, this works in your favour because of the mystery. Trust me man, bad girls love bad boys, but good girls love 'em too.

You might also consider your good points. What are they? Are you reasonably intelligent? Do you care about people? Are you kind to animals? Do you care about the environment? Do you have goals? Do you read, draw, play music, or have any talents? The fact that this issue concerns you shows you have some sort of functioning conscience.

Show the good stuff, and let the other stuff out as it comes up. Quit saying you're having coffee when you're really doing something else. You may already anticipate the possibility that she may lose interest upon knowing the "real" you. You may also want to consider that she might feign acceptance and attempt to "reform" you.

i consider myself reasonably inteligent, i done care much for people in general unless they can prove otherwise, people tend to take advantage of trust and friemdship loyalty to futher themselfves along the in the race which is their pittyfull existance..back to the matter at hand i am an artist(or in the proccess of discovering what it is to be an artist) and enjoy writting i try give all that she could possibly want.

the problem is all that is left is the "fun and games" i tend to play when shes not around and yes i do fell like a asshole when i say im out fer coffe when im not, it makes me sick to my stomach when she says "lets never keep secrets" i can only hope shes can be accepting when i tell her...... becuase i ahve decided to tell her.

i just hope i dont loose her
