Default Keeping a relationship AWAY from friendship

I am getting to know this HOT girl. We are starting to talk regularly, and are becoming familiar. At this point, we aren't friends, but if this continues, that's what this will come. I want to continue talking with her, but I want to steer the relationship towards boyfriend/girlfriend.

I'm thinking I should start getting more touchy when I'm talking to her, perhaps do some hot/cold seduction shit...

I definetely DO NOT wanna become "buddies". Not to say I don't like being aruond her, but I just don't want another female friend.

By hot/cold do you mean switch on and off (personalities) like a light switch? I wouldn't really recommend doing that. A little indifference might make you more appealing to her but don't get her to thinking you're schizophrenic.

Touchy/feely... if she likes that you'll know rather quickly. If she responds back with the same you're in there. Watch her body language... does she turn herself towards you or away? Does she play with her hair? Always a good sign (or she could have dandruff). Crossing and un-crossing her legs is a sign of interest. If she looks you in the eyes while eating a banana.. good sign.

If she seems to be steering you towards a friendship type relationship back off, not entirely, but give her indications that you're accessable to other women as well.. see that she gets some of your attention but don't beg her to be your girlfriend, it won't work. And my favorite.. when you're listening to her (as you should), lick your eyebrows...

Any reason why you haven't just asked her out in a straightforward manner? Whatever you kids do these days, whatever y'all do in your city/town/neighborhood...ask her to join you. And it should be a weekend evening event so there's no confusion as to whether this is a "date."

Never asked her out. Asked for the phone number though and didn't get it. I guess "nowadays", getting a number is just as unnerving and big as asking the girl out. Now that I think of it, very few people "ask girls out" anymore. It seems like this:

The guy meets the girl somehow, and hopefully gets her number. They talk for like... a week...and then you find out that they are going out that they're a couple. If your an underclassmen, it seems to mean kissing, sitting together, talking, and saying your going out with each other. If your older, the couples will go out to eat, the movies, etc. in addition to the other shit.

Wow. Having just evaluated the modern young dating system, its pretty pointless, especially when younger (freshmen, sophomores) are daying. The junior and senior relationships seem to be a lot stronger. They last from like 6 months to 2 years. Freshmen and sophmore relationships last for like...a week to a month.

Dragon, this is advice so few people will give, but this is Dhali Llama sage style advice:

The teenage dating scene is for the sole purpose of experience and finding out what you want. The problem with it most of the time though, is that all the confusion creates a lot of backstabbing and distrust, eventually leading to some really fucked up adults. What I suggest doing, is rather than getting directly involved, is to simply observe as many relationships as you can: see how they start, how they interact, and most importantly, what caused them to break up and what you think about the break-up. From this, you can figure out your own tastes, style, and know what you need to do. Apply this knowledge once the teens turn into young adults to begin the game several years ahead of your peers (most people learn more from relationships when they don't have personal bias of being involved, so your friends would be really good teachers, hehe). Doing this, you will have the knowledge, and a good deal of the wisdom. Try a few short term relationships to solidify your tastes, then move up to the grandaddy LTR. You should have no problem maintaining it at all if you have decent observational and cognitive skills (your grammar shows atleast some intelligence so I assume you can observe and think).

Take those words deep...you don't need to date yet. Avoid the heartache and games that turn you into the hard bastards adults are...learn from other people's games.
