Does anyone have some suggestions/advise on this....

Well, my best friend is a female. We've known each other for years. We are very close, and we can talk about anything and everything. And lately theres been something I wanna talk to her about. I would like to ask her if we can sleep together, but not go into any real relationship. Well, like being "friends with benefits." It's not that I don't wanna date her, it's just not in my plans right now. It's also not like I just wanna do her when I want, I guess I have just always been curious to wanna sleep with her. I don't wanna lose her as my friend.

Anyone got advice on how I should go about this situation?

I wouldn't do it if you are really close friends. If you wern't so close i think it can work but as you are it could make you feel awkward around each other.
