Old Eyes
Ok, I have two minor problems here.
First:
There is this chick that is really hot, smart, nice, and new. I haven't had a chance to get to know her yet, and our schedules don't really match. Also, she is three years older than me :P Everytime I walk down the hallways and stuff, I often notice her looking at me, so I want to atlease get to know her. Any real suggestions on a way to do that?
Second:
I seem to have a staring problem. Many girls that I do not know, and I find attractive, accuse me of constantly staring at them. It kinda pisses me off, cause I try not to, and I occasionally glance at them and catch their eyes. Maybe I am staring and I don't realize it, but it pisses me off, cause all these girls are interpreting my occasional glance as a staring problem. Also, I'm ridicolously good-looking (I just had to say that. Girls say I'm either decent, or fairly hot), so it's not like I'm some freak in their eyes. Also, when I look at a girl, I immediatly look in her eyes for somereason. I look in their eyes before I check anything else out, and maybe because I look them straight in the eyes when I do glance, they think it is staring? I dunno, it kinda confuses me. Anyways, Merry Christmas,

Hilarious. 3 years? That's nothing. You're fairly bright; I'm sure you can hold your own in a conversation. Just start saying hello whenever you see her. Always gives me a thrill.
Staring? The best thing said to me by a guy I caught staring was something like "Yep, just relax and enjoy, and I'll do the same."
Life is simple!

Re: Old Eyes
Lol, that's a good one. And yes, I can hold my own in conversation, so once I got a conversation started, it wouldn't be bad. Starting one is the hard part, when you occasionally see eachother throughout the day. Also, three years only seems like a bit, as she is in grade 12, and me grade 9. The younger you are, the bigger the difference seems between the ages. Although, I look fairly old, so that could help a bit too.

^^^excuse me but.... hahahahahahahhahahhahahhahahahhahahahahhahahahahha hahahahaha!!!
I seriously doubt that any girl 3 years older then you and in highschool is going to date you. If your looking for a friendship then of course your going to get one, but chances are shes going to consider you her "cute little kid friend". chances are also that the age gap is going to become painfully obvious and a tad uncomfortable with you as she hangs out with her 18-20 year old guy friends who of course will look down upon you (lest you be one hell of a socializer)

Re: Old Eyes
Geez, you're right GG, I completely forgot about the high school female mentality. That's the whole reason I barked at the other gal in that other thread. But, TT did say the young lady has been giving him the eye.
Or, TT, is it possible she's "glancing" at you the way you "glance" at the others?

Re: Old Eyes
I've been out of school for over 2 years now but I still remember the girls' mentality...They don't go for anyone younger than them...Especially guys 3 years younger than them!
She probably just notices your "staring problem", as others call it and matches you glance.
As for the staring problem bit, I agree with EssJay...Don't drool when you do it and also with Cindy's quote "Yep, just relax and enjoy, and I'll do the same."

ohh the eye is a powerful thing no doubt, but the eyes of teenage girls often wonder and never see what is important, the naive'te (sp?) sometimes never wears out either, its kinda sad. She can think your cute and cool, but unless shes a real person it wont work, especially in highschool...
