Default Levels of attractiveness

Do any of you feel there is a "level of attractiveness" if you will? What I mean is a difference between beautiful, cute, and sexy (to name a few).

Just curious. If you feel this way what levels are there for you? Can words describe the "level" (or characteristic)?

They all pretty much are the same but to me some have different qualities (such as the 3 above, similar yet different).

Using those 3 adjectives, I would say the following:

Cute

Nice looking, nice voice, fun to be around, outgoing, funny and nicely dressed.

Sexy

Very good looking, sexily dressed, geat physical attributes, speaks provocatively maybe and makes me happy in my pants!

Beautiful

Makes my jaw drop at the sight of her, great to talk to, makes me happy just being with her, physically perfect and makes me realise I would crawl over broken glass to get to her!

There's my somewhat vague ideas on the subject!

As a personal rule, I don't go for beautiful girls because usually whenever I come within 10 feet of them I immediately lose all ability to speak.

It's more like this, but do this does ofcourse not apply to everybody, there are always exeptions.

Cute:

She's nice, outgoing, kind of sexy, funny, great personaly alround nice to be around, she usually is smart and you can have great talks with her(my personal favorite)

Sexy:

She's got a body that rocks your world and a sertaint "I don't know what". You know she's hot but you can't quite put your finger to it. They usually have a nice personality and you can talk to them but on a bit lower level then with the cute girl, but there are a few exeptions

Beautifull:

This girl is hot, you just wanna screw her the instant you see her, with these people you are usually just atracted to her for her looks nothing more she probebly is as stupid as a frog and she doesn't know who Sadam is, you know it won't last long.

Those are the same 3 categories I use to describe my woman, who is perfectly one or the other or the other at any given moment.

I divide them thus:

Cute- The maternal type that is simultaneously like mother and child. This evokes in me a protective instinct, and makes me goofy and childlike, or stern and father like, depending on the compatible disposition.

Sexy- Duh. Anything that produces a sexual response in me is sexy. Any protective instincts the cuteness inspired are abandoned in favor of the frenzies desire to possess and destroy and integrate.

Beautiful- The "highest" of the 3, that abandons both the cute inspired protective instinct and the sexually inspired possessive, destructive feeling. When she is fancy looking or particularly dignified, she is beautiful, and this makes me feel in awe and reverent. I do also feel protective, but it is more protective of an ethical stance than a physical one, so I am not concerned with cuddling because she has a stomach ache, like when she is cute, but I am ready to ride off and fight and die to protect her honor and good name, with this Beauty in mind

Guh, I get called "cute" and "sexy" and "pretty" but rarely "beautiful." Except by gay men working the BeneFit counter who wish to sell me pink mascara for $21.

I like the way "partyondudes" below describes his "levels" so I've stolen his concept.

My standards are weird. I consider very few men to be truly ugly and undesirable. Poor hygiene and grooming and general lack of self-care would throw a man into this category, not his genetic endowments.

So, all reasonably clean, healthy and groomed men are "attractive." But I'm not necessarily attracted to them.

<UL TYPE=SQUARE>

<LI>"Nice." Means something about his physical appearance is attention-worthy. Men over 6'2" automatically fall into this category. Hands that show a lot of wear are nice. Irish eyes are nice.

<LI>"Damn." All of the above, plus certain intellectual aspects. Musicians...damn. Writers...damn. Chemists...damn. Computer geeks...damn. Physical attributes become considerably less significant at this stage.

<LI>"Fuck." All of the above, plus...wears glasses, or has long hair and can pull off the look, or has short hair and doesn't gunk it up with too many products, wears blue jeans and white t-shirts most of the time, or wears a lot of black. Asocial/non-social but not anti-social. Smarter than me and not afraid to let me know it, and be right about it. Makes me laugh without trying too hard.

<LI>"Yes." All of the above, with the confidence to rule my world.

</UL>

The most beautiful girl I know is actually my best friend. She's gorgeous, funny, smart, and awesome to hang out with.

That sounds more like cute, I mean you don't think your best friend is beautifull. There's gotta be somebody who you think is prettier there's always someone prettier.

That to me is more like sexy. There is a girl I know who I find beautiful and I've never had a sexual thought about her!

Sexy

This would be the type of wet dream girl. She brings out your primal lust and you sexually want her.

Beautiful

The best compliment IMO. Naturally good looking, yet make up..... WOW!. Someone who doesn't inspire sexual thought or lust. She has a 'glow' to her. Something.. divine.

Cute

Adorable. You may look at her as piece of meat at first but at the same time you want to get to know her.

For me it's hard to find good words to really describe what I mean, maybe later.

For me, these words don't describe levels of attractiveness. They are more different types of attractiveness and each has levels within it. Hope that makes sense.

Cute - She's not bad looking, and kinda fun to be around, but usually the most attractive aspect of a cute girl is that she seems interested. She's somebody on your level (well, my level, anyway) which instills the confidence necessary to complete the transaction, so to speak.

Sexy - Sometimes referred to by me as the "painted harlot." Lots of our local sorority girls fall into this category. She's got a great body, and she's not afraid to show it off. Long legs showcased by a skirt or tight pants, goodly sized rack showcased by a tight, revealing shirt. One of those girls that instantly petrifies your member.

Beautiful - The beautiful category is essentially the sexy category, minus the blatant, pandering exhibition, adding a healthy does of dignity. She doesn't let her tits hang ou of her shirt, but you know they're there. She carries herself with a little more class than the rest of the gender.

Cute: uber nice or refreshingly spunky. Not A piece of absolute meat, but not too good. Inspires protective feeling.

Think like Yuffie(spunky type) or Zelda(sweet type)

Sexy: Boner inspiring, usually with a "good" attitude and sorta laid back about sex. usually inspires desire to use her for own pleasure.

Think Tifa

Beautiful: Awe inspiring. you can barely think coherently around her. You'd walk through an endless wasteland with hundreds of salted wounds all over you. Inspires courage, happiness and wonder. Think Aerith or Malon from OoT.

yeah, i know, i'm using game characters, but that's cause you know who they are.

uPersonally, I use the Pie Method.

Mincemeat Pie - Very bottom of the barrol, completly unattractive.

Apple Pie - Not bad look, most would say average.

Dutch Apple Pie - About three steps above Apple Pie, most women considerd "cute" or "pretty" go into this catagory.

Lemon Meringue Pie - Sexy. Fake, but sexy. This is the top of the list, only the most air-brushed models earn the right to be called Lemon Meringue.

(Note: This system doesn't only grade on looks, it also grades on intelligence, good tastes, and style. For example- if a lemon meringue looking women were to say... turn me down when I ask her out, it would show she's lacking in both intelligence and taste. )

Easy I understand. I just picked the first three adjectives that came to mind but kind of were on different sides of the spectrum. There are many levels to me, those were just the first and only three that really came to mind at that time that had some difference to them.

Cute - attractive, funny, blah blah blah, the whole 9 yards

Sexy - attractive, provocative, sex material, blah blah blah

beautiful - Drop dead gorgeous, makes your jaw fall through the floor and eyes out the head. Sheer perfection, fuck on sight material. Stand out in a crowd.

There aree girls who are hot, then there are ones who are HOOOOOOOTT!

I've got a friend who I think is absolutely gorgeous. She has the nicest features of anyone I know, she's just so pretty! I used to like her but after figuring that we'd be best as friends, that's what it stayed at, and I'm glad it did. She's just such a nice person, so sweet and caring.. On one hand I we were in a boy/girlfriend type of relationship, but on the other hand.. I'm just happy as friends, probably even moreso than if it was more. Ah.. Now I just need to find someone who I can fucking ask out. I'm in desperate need of a girlfriend...

Cute: Silly guys, the clown, the geek, etc. They're not ugly, but they're not stunning either. What draws you to them is their innocense, humour, good nature, intelect. You're attracted more by their personality than anything else. They're usually pretty high on the smarts scale because they've learned not to rely on their looks. They sometimes require a little more attention and you feel a bit dirty when you get physical with them.... almost like you're deflowering a virgin.

Sexy: They're just soo good looking that it wouldn't even matter if they were missing 90% of their brain, you'd fuck 'em regardless. Sexy in the way they walk, the way they flex their pec when they reach for their drink, the way their pants hug their perfect ass without making them look like an absolute fag. The way they make sex feel better than you could've even imagined it! Heaven-sent eyecandy.

(Beautiful) Handsome: A perfect blend of the above... the guy who not only appeals to your sexual hunger, but to your heart and soul as well. The kind of guy that makes your world go 'round.

When checking out chiks with my wingman we use the following terms

UGHH...

Disgusting. Fat, ugly, sometimes has a greasy belly hanging out of stinky shirt.

HMMM....

a decent looking gal

OHHHH

a nice looking gal

...... (eyes open wide in disbelief)

The cream of the crop. Don't even attemp hitting on her.

We usually shoot for somewhere between HMMM... and OOOHHH....

Why are people including something sexual in the Beautiful part? I dont consider it a sexual thing at all. Its more etheric and worthy of worship.

I know a girl like that. She's beautiful, smart, and she carries herself with amazing dignity and grace. But for some reason, after knowing her for a week, I just wasn't sexually attracted to her any more.

Of course, maybe her boyfriend had something to do with it...
