I think it depends on what type of girls you want to get.

I you want the shallow, slutty bitches whose vocies you won't be able to stand the next morning, by all means, use the following method.

Think of the biggest asshole you've ever known. I mean, the hugest fucking jackass you've ever met, just think of a dickhead who gets 'the chicks.' Then act exactly like he would, speak exactly like he would.

Take this act, add 'chicks' and a dose of alcohol, shake well, and serve over massive regret and feeling sick with yourself in the morning.

You won't be able to look at the whore again. But, hey, at least you got the hot chick.

Also, As much as you want to deny it, its a fact. Acting like yourself in many people's case won't get them the girl they want. Maybe they'll get the ONE after a couple decades, but thats no guarentee. You can change a bit of your personality and be fine. I'm not talking about becoming a new person, which you seem to think, I'm talking about just adapting a bit. Adapting is natural and normal.

If you are telling me that you've always been yourself and not changed any parts of yourself/behavior at all, yet are still succesfful with guys, I'm not sure I believe that entirely.

BTW. I have a friend. He's not very good looking, his personality is less than enjoyable, and he is somewhat obnoxious. Acting like himself has been unsucessful. Eventually, I'm sure he will find someone right for him, but in the present, if he wanted to get with a girl he thinks is pretty, I wouldn't expect him to be able to if he acted completely like himself. Its a fact of life

Or go for younger women, the older ones in a relationship seem to hold more power.

I agree, to some extent. If you want a fuckbuddy, go ahead and change your personality all you want. But that's just deceiving yourself in the long run. Why in the hell would you want to date someone who has almost nothing in common with you for a long period of time?

But finding someone you can be around without having to change the way you act is a beautiful thing.

Now if your friend is really obnoxious like you said, I can understand him changing that, but on the whole, seriously changing your personality will just make you unhappy again 90% of the time. Or at least it would for me =/.

If you want to get the girl, there's two things you need to do (in simplest terms):

1. Don't be a pussy. Self-explanatory. Assholes have the advantage here because they make a display of what strength they have, while nice guys tend to be more reserved, but you can be a nice guy and come across with a "don't fuck with me" aura.

2. Treat the girl in a different manner than she's used to. Guys say you have to be an asshole, but they're always talking about the pretty girls, the ones who have been fawned over forever. Have you ever heard someone talk about how to nail a fat chick? "Dude, just be nice to them, they'll love you." Why is that? Because they've been treated with scorn and derision their whole lives.

I say this from a guy's perspective, but it works on both genders. If you want to catch someone's attention, you have to show them something they're not used to seeing. What that is depends on the person and what they've encountered in their lives. This isn't foolproof, of course- someone new to dating and sex may continue to go with the same type of people because they're not tired of anything yet, and many older people aren't drawn in by this because they already know what they like. It serves as a good guideline, though, if you have your eye on someone who is experienced but not set in their ways.
