The blood is from the 'cherry'(hymen). If the hymen has already broken(which it has commonly already been broken). No, it won't bleed.

The hymen can break from a number of things; horseback riding, gymnastic[sp], and even running can break it.

So yes it's probably true she's a virgin(if you can trust her). Ask her if it hurt a little when you had sex, if she says 'no' she probably isn't a virgin.
