Can you get an STD through using the same pipe (smoking weed) with someone who has one?

My friend has been sick a few days, had a sore throat, fever, congested and adnominal pains. The doctor gave her antibiodics, the fever went away, but the abdominal pains persisted.

The doctor today said although the cultivated urine sample test have not come back, that he is pretty sure its an STD, not 100% positive though. She has done any sexual acts with anyone that could have possibly given that to her (I know for sure, dont tell me, you really dont know).

She is afraid if she has an STD that the only way she contracted it was over the summer by sharing pipes with a lot of shady people. Which she is petrified of explaing to her parents that she was getting high, not sleeping around. Its a double edged sword.

So can you get one from sharing a pipe?

Erm, what are you considering an STD? I can't think of a single one that can be communicable by sharing a pipe, other than oral herpes, maybe.

However, my best gov't resources suggest that pregnancy by this means is not only possible, but probable.

HIV isnt the ONLY std. An std is a disease transmitted from oral, anal, or regular sex and probably sometimes from a handjob.
