I don't know that this would work. Sounds like you're suggesting she take on a "dom" role to encourage him to "submit" to a "dom" role.

Some guys are distinctly uncomfortable with the whole spanking thing. Maybe they can't separate the "hitting a girl" idea from sexual play.

I am not suggesting she order him, just reward him when he acts right. Turning into an animal will make him feel powerful, and she has to link that to the behavior she wants. He will then have the desire and ability to be "more assertive."

^I used to be that way. You feel altruistic and like "a nice guy", but in reality it's selfish. That's because you are operating in your own head, but you should be trying to get in your partner's head. Hope that makes sense.
