after how much time do you call it quits?
Its been almost four days since I have talked to Ryan. Neither one of us has tried to contact the other, as far as I can tell. No word at all. My clothes and things are still at his place (I hope), and his stuff is still here at mine. Do guys abandon their stuff?
How much longer should I wait? I dont really want to go out with anyone else, but I do want to go out with my friends. I feel bad thinking about going out on the town and clubbing when it feels like I should be waiting for him to get home.
At what point do I say he isn't coming back, and start the process of getting him out of my head?

Re: after how much time do you call it quits?
I would consider it over in your situation unless you are actively going to do more to get him back. I think he has been pretty clear.
But as a general rule of thumb, a relationship is dead if there is no communication for 2 weeks. At least, that's my rule.

It can never hurt to call him and ask him to clear the air. I have found that with most men (and a few good ladies) that if you ask a direct question you will get a direct answer.

If I were you, I would keep at it for awhile longer. You don't want him thinking he means nothing to you. Then he definately won't take you back. Wait to go out.

I say forget it...move on to your next victim. His life is all fucked up thanks to you. A job well done.
