So last night I go down on my girl. Nothing new. Me knowing nothing about yeast infections what so ever, I didn't think too much of that "extra stuff." Well I talk to her today and she's more than positive she has a yeast infection. We both did a little research and she does in fact have one. She's gettin' whatever shit she has to get from Wal-Mart today so my only concern left right now is me. Is there anything I need to worry about? So far the only thing I've seen that men have to worry about is getting some sorta infection on their dick. My dick was nowhere near there, only my toungue and fingers. Does my mouth have anything to worry about? If so, what can I do to make sure I'm alright? I've already done all I can think of... (Brushed, flossed, and I rinsed my mouth with a saline solution, Listerine, and ACT. Any imput would be helpful.

This is how we know. A while ago we were havin' sex and when we were done she was tellin' me about how she was really hurtin' there. I've had a yeast infection once for a few days before I got a prescription to help it go away. My guy went down on me a few times and said he could taste a difference but it wasn't purtid or anything.

Nothing happened to his mouth or him and he was more than eager to go back down once it all went away.

Douching causes stink. Douching with anything other than water will fuck up the balance of things in the vagina. Our body's pretty much take care of themselves, vaginas don't need to be internally washed.

Diet and hygeine can have an effect on the taste or smell. Often right before bleeding starts she can have a bit of a funk. Clothes and underwear can have a minor influence on smell too. Don't quote me on this, but I think I'd be safe in saying that it's hereditary. If your ma's gotta a stench, you probably will too.

There are things that can help improve taste. (Like drinking water). But douching and feminine deodorant and all that is just a temporary solution that will lead to nastier problems in the long run.

as for the funk, tell her to take a shower. in my experience, a smelly pussy is the same as smelly balls. good hygene is all it needs. say she just went for a run, and is all sweaty, then chances are, she's going to smell bad there too.

Stern said they need to take frequent baths to keep it cleansed. If you smell like a fish head, ladies, try it.

Just a follow up on my situation (for any of you that care). Nothing happened, to me anyway. Woo hoo. I ended up rinsin' my mouth like crazy for the next couple of days with everything I could find, Listerine, ACT, salt water, and hydrogen peroxide. I'm not sure if that's what did the trick, but I figure better safe then sorry. Anyway, my girlfriend is kissin' me again and she's almost back to normal so we're doin' good.

In my experience, Europeans tend to call it thrush whereever it appears. Americans tend to call it a a yeast infection when it appears in the vagina, and thrush for the mouth.
