Eye contact category
When you make eye contact with someone hot do you:
A: Gaze into their eyes and think "Damn you is hot"
B: Think "Maintain....3, 2, 1 aaand break"
or
C: Think "Fuck she/he saw me looking" and look away.
I'm a mixture of B and C, but I'm working towards A. I can imagine eye contact is real nice if it doesn't scare you so much.

Re: Eye contact category
I think I may have posted this a while ago, but staring dehumanizes the person you are looking at. Ask yourself, "do I feel uncomfortable when someone stares at me?", usually the answer is yes. Doing that whole 3-2-1 thing is your best bet. Staring for an extended period of time (i guess more than 10 seconds, just a guesstimate) would be useful for checking out her pupils. Research has shown that a person's pupils widen when they see something they like. However, this is kind of hard because you have to take into account what her pupils were like before, and the amount of light in the room, etc. It's a lot of a hassle and isn't too practical. You'd be better off by judging her reactions to what you say and how she responds.

When sober, I do B and throw in a "hi." When drinking, A all the way.

Re: Eye contact category
Personnaly I look away when they look up towards me just so they know I'm looking but it doesn't to over the top at looking at them. Then its like a game of getting each others attention.

Re: Eye contact category
I think that eye contact is very important but like Daimajin said. It shouldn't go to the point of staring at the other person. Maybe a brief eye contact then look away but still keep your genereal attention on the person to show that you are still interested.
Take Care,
Kangy

I can only ever appreciate how amazing a girl looks if I know she won't see me, but then I feel like some kind of peeping tom.

Re: Eye contact category
A all the way.
If you think it, it WILL show up in your eyes. It's just an odd psychic thing us humans have.
Or, maybe it just creates a unique combination of facial muscle contractions.

Yeah I think that. It's a shame how people can pick up on all the small things. Even if they don't realise it, it still gives them appropriate feelings.

Re: Eye contact category
Can I make a 4th option?
D - gaze into thier eyes, because you just do it naturally anyway.
I've never got my head around people who are uncomfortable maintaining eye contact for a significant amount of time. I always thought it was normal to have eye contact when you're talking to them, it showed that you were paying attention to what they had to say. Meh, maybe I'm just a freak...

Re: Eye contact category
I do all kinds of things. Sometimes staring into their eyes and thinking "damn you're nothing" works even better, especially if you get the vibe that she thinks she is out of your league.

Re: Eye contact category
Usually, B and C...Same as you.
After a few pints of "liquid courage" I can easily go for the A category!
I am gradually becoming more of a sober A person...Yesterday I was driving through London (Central London = Babe city!) and was making eye contact and maintaining it...With a little help from me mate who I was working with...He was shouting at women and pretending I had said "ELLO DAAAARLIN'!" and "GETCHA TITS OUT LUV!" and giving me a ciggy every time i kept eye contact!
It becomes easier with practice!

Re: Eye contact category
C.
One of my biggest flaws is that I can't keep eye contact with a girl (in that way) for more then a second unless I know her.
But like Beany said, I'm striving my hardest to move up the ladder to A.

Re: Eye contact category
I saw this absolute stunner in town the other day, and she kept eye contact with me, I didn't break until she passed me, but then I just went like a fucking mute. It was category A all the way - so just gotta find my voice next time.

This is true...at the moment...but eventually(due to the tremendous amount of men out there who stare at our boobs in the most obvious way)women will mutate so that our eyes replace our nipples...
