Welcome to high school. Until Senior Year, its exactly like Junior high. Even Senior Year sucks.

High school is a lot of fun for a lot of people. It wasn't for me. It drove home every insecurity I have. For most of it, the only, friends I had were assholes who ditched me everychance they got to hang out with someone cooler. Right up until Senior Year I got literally no attention from girls, got picked on, pushed in the hallways, hit a lot, constantly being refered to as "faggot" and constantly being threatened with beatings, abuse, etc.

For all of it, I became isolated, lonely, and I got into a damn good school. There is one consolation to being a huge loser. Out of boredom, you'll start doing things like reading, writing, playing an instrument. You'll become more intelligent through the practice of these things. That's what happened to me. Not having any reliable friends, throughout high school I became very well read. People who are well read write well. My submissiveness made most of my teachers love me, and between the two I got very good grades. Now I'm a Gallatin School student at NYU. Gallatin being the third most elite subdivsion of NYU behind Tisch, and Stern. I'm still an outcast here, but that's ok, because I can honestly say I'm better than most of the people here.

Consider yourself lucky that you were respected in junior high then. I had it just as bad in junior high as I did in high school. If you were respected in junior high, then I doubt it will be as bad for you because at least you have some sort of social leg to stand on.

The only way to properly enjoy yourself there is to get stoned everyday before school, at lunch, and after school. Unfortunately for me, I did not learn this until 6 weeks before graduation. HighSchool could have been so much more fun.

But I was a pussy, and didn't learn fun til it was almost to late...

The moral of the story? Get fucked up in school as much as possible, but not drunk. They'll breathalyzer your ass. Fuck up as many people as possible, and fuck with as many people as possible, and don't take shit from no one. If you start kicking some ass and smoking some grass now, by the time you start your Junior year, no one will fuck with you and you'll be invited to all the best parties, where you can get more drunk than anyone and throw up on people you dont like, In the name of, "Its ok, he's just really drunk..."

Fa'ad seriosly I'm not picking on you or flaming you. But you seem to have a "everyone is always picking on me attitude" I'm not telling you to be an asshole but sometimes maybe you need to flex some muscle. There is a thin line inbetween being an asshole and being a passive person that gets walked all over. Yes it is true that alot of girls go for the "asshole" type but alot of girls also go for the intellectual shy type as well. But even if you are shy a girl isn't going to go for a guy that gets picked on and can't even stand up for himself let alone her. Now I know your probably going to take this offensively and try to deffend yourself. Honestly maybe your attitude that you have online you should carry over into your personal life. You don't have to be an asshole to people but don't be a pushover. Confidence is the key and with the attitude that i sense you have it seems as though due from past experiences you may not show confidence.

Another thing is the way that other people percieve you. I always preach "who cares what other people think" but no matter what some people can not do that. And no offense but I just don't think that you have it in you. You can't say "I dont' care what other people think" and still try to fit it. Just be yourself, be proud of yourself, and have confidence. Take the attitude that if someone doesn't like you for who you are then fuck em. Example: in a situation of rejection a stereotypical asshole would have said something like "well fuck you than bitch" while a pushover would have done what you did and let it get to him and take it personal and that shows wether or not you think it does people notice that. Like I said above there is a thin line between those two. and that is what you need to learn.

Damn I keep forgetting that most if not all of these questions like this are from younger kids that are still in high school. At your age I remember going through the same things. Well not really the same things but the feelings of rejection, being used, wanting to be liked, the overall confussion of that age range. Summed up My best advice I can give you is "Just be your fucking self and if you are not accepted for who you are then move on. NEVER let anyone else change who you are. If you don't want to be an asshole then don't be. Just know that if you are going to be a pushover you will be, well pushed over alot. That is just how things go. There is not magical way to make you popular. Some people are just naturally like that and well others aren't. Learn to live with it. Just focus on yourself and getting the most you can out of your limited time in school. Yes it may seem like it is forever and you can't wait to get out of that dreaded hell whole. Well when it is all said and done you will miss it and the person you change into during your adolescant is pretty much who you are going to be. Once you have a certain mindset and attitude it is very hard to change when you are older. Trust me on that one. Just becareful who you become, as long as you listen to your heart then you can't go wrong. If your a pushover then so be it, that is who you are, learn how to use that to your advantage." I know that it isn't easy, no one said that growing up is. But the difference between the loners and the popular kids are that the loners let it get them down and the popular kids accept it and have fun. Just don't keep that high school sucks attitude because the only person making it suck is you by the way you percieve it.

Fa'ad seriosly I'm not picking on you or flaming you. But you seem to have a "everyone is always picking on me attitude" I'm not telling you to be an asshole but sometimes maybe you need to flex some muscle. Just be yourself, be proud of yourself, and have confidence. Take the attitude that if someone doesn't like you for who you are then fuck em. Example: in a situation of rejection a stereotypical asshole would have said something like "well fuck you than bitch" while a pushover would have done what you did and let it get to him and take it personal and that shows wether or not you think it does people notice that. Like I said above there is a thin line between those two. and that is what you need to learn.

Damn I keep forgetting that most if not all of these questions like this are from younger kids that are still in high school. At your age I remember going through the same things. Well not really the same things but the feelings of rejection, being used, wanting to be liked, the overall confussion of that age range. Summed up My best advice I can give you is "Just be your fucking self and if you are not accepted for who you are then move on. NEVER let anyone else change who you are. If you don't want to be an asshole then don't be. Just know that if you are going to be a pushover you will be, well pushed over alot. That is just how things go. There is not magical way to make you popular. Some people are just naturally like that and well others aren't. Learn to live with it. Just focus on yourself and getting the most you can out of your limited time in school. Yes it may seem like it is forever and you can't wait to get out of that dreaded hell whole. Well when it is all said and done you will miss it and the person you change into during your adolescant is pretty much who you are going to be. Once you have a certain mindset and attitude it is very hard to change when you are older. Trust me on that one. Just becareful who you become, as long as you listen to your heart then you can't go wrong. If your a pushover then so be it, that is who you are, learn how to use that to your advantage." I know that it isn't easy, no one said that growing up is. But the difference between the loners and the popular kids are that the loners let it get them down and the popular kids accept it and have fun. Just don't keep that high school sucks attitude because the only person making it suck is you by the way you percieve it.

Well, I started Highschool just recently, and this is what I've done.

I'm going to an alternative school, so for the first week and a half, we don't do anything. We just choose our classes.
