I would just tell the guy that the girl is into S&M and let him make up his own mind. There is nothing wrong with it if that is what he wants, but it is possible to get suckered into that lifestyle slowly and get fucked up. If he is unsure if that is what he wants, maybe a few controlled sessions with a professional mistress can allow him to explore that side of himself without getting involved in a relationship that slowly becomes more and more abusive. Most people who practice S&M do it on occasion and do not stay in character 24/7. It sounds like this girl wants the 24/7 and his personality may allow it if she introduced him to it slow enough. But that could be too much for him.
