hey this girl on the bus is keep asking me for hugs.... does this lead anywhere? if it doesnt, can i make it go somewhere??

I guess it depends, is this on a public bus?

It sounds like she likes you. Maybe the hug thing is a matter of security: it makes her feel safe, loved, whatever. It probably will lead somewhere, but you don't know until you get to know her better. Do you feel anything for her?

Hugs are always good. I love hugs who doesn't just hug her no harm done.

there are different possibilities:

1) she likes you and is trying to show you.

2) she likes you as a friend and is hugging you.

3) she is a bitch who is playing with your emotions.

there are probably more but i can't be arsed thinking of any more...give us some more info and i'll be happy to think more in-depth about it!

Inviting a guy to hug me is what you Americans call a "litmus test" for him. It is a way to see if I can trust him further. If he responds with a HUG (NOT A MARTHON GROPING), then I know I can go further with him, and that he can be trusted to move only as fast as my comfort with him allows. If I feel his hands on my butt or boobs on this first "hug me" outing, or if he salivates and eats my ear, then he failed the test!!! (hee hee). Love, Venus.

the hug might not mean anything, I get occasional hugs from a few of my lady friends. But if the hugs are a daily thing and she if holds them a bit longer then a normal hug, then she might want more. If you usually let go first, tomorrow keep your arms around her until you feel her start to let go. If the hug lasts for 3-4 minutes, then yeah, she probably digs you

The type of hug is key. If she presses her entire body into you, it is not a license to take her right then, but proceed with confidence. If she leans way in to keep her body back, it is a friendship hug and you have your work cut out for you.

If you're taller, over. Shorter, under. Pretty simple, do whatever feels right and happens. Don't ask how to hug.

It kind of seems like you are already in friend territory. Hell, though, if you feel you already have enough friends go for it. Just sit down next to her on the bus start making some conversation and ask her out.

im sorry, but thats totally wrong. guys should always go under her arms. hug tight, but not to the pint where she can't breathe. and it's always great to pick her up, lift her off her feet midway through the hug. i've been deemed the hugmonster by a few of my friends, i hug everyone.

Nuh-uh. I'm not going to argue about the right way to hug, but at my height it's a bit ridiculous for some guys to try under-arm hugging. It's uncomfortable for both parties, even if it is fun. For comfort hugging, i go under the arms. For good-bye, dramatic hugging, and off-the feet hug is acceptible.

nahh.... for comfort hugging, a nice big bearhug is nessecary. to bearhug, you need to get them under the arms and lift them up. thats just how it works.

I won't be getting this hug thing down anytime soon . I get uncomfortable when most people even touch me on the shoulder.

ok it's settled, i hug her under her arms, im taller.... about 6 foot 1... but she aint taht short so it's all good. lol i never learnt how to hug properly! ive just been doing it randomly :S

Eyesore knows how to hug!! I don't care how tall the guy is, I like it under the arms, and for him to pick me up too!! It doesn't feel like a real hug if he's over my arms. Love, Venus.

Hugging is hugging if you ask me. I love a hug. But i hate it when you're upset and someone asks if you're alright. Obviously you arent so they hug you and then burst into tears. What's that about? Sorry i got off topic.

I don't think I've ever had or seen that happen.

Hugs don't have to mean anything. Hell, I'll be hanging out with this girl I know and suddenly she's like "I'm going to take a nap. Get in my bed NOW." and it doesn't mean anything.

Just ask her, you have nothing to lose. If she's not interested you can always play the 'guys are idiots' card. But if she's hugging you that usualy means that she at least likes you as a friend.
