Well, how do you and her feel about it? Has it been a topic of guilt or foreboding or bad feelings between you? If not, then go for it. Fuck what other people think of it. If it's been an issue between you, then talk it out. By the way, bear in mind she's most likely just in the beginning stages of puberty, all the while you're most likely coming out of it, so there is a bit of a biological gap. It's a crucial point in her life - don't do anything that she'll hate herself later in life for (like pressure her into sex). I'm not saying you do; just if the thought ever crossed your mind.

um, dude, there is no set age difference that is "acceptable" it all depends on the people involved.

Its all good as long as you're happy and she's happy and you're both compatible NO ONE should be saying "Oooh 3 years is just too much!" cause that's bogus. How should they know if they know neither of you personally?

People mature at different times, she might even be ahead of you in maturity even if she's behind you in age. Its up to you to make the call because you know her and you can tell if she's got it together enough to share the kind of relationship you're interested in.

I don't know how well this might work, but talk to her parents, if they have no problems with you or the age gap, then feel free to do whatever.

Of course, the chance of them accepting you is really low, cuz they know what you want, and they know what's gonna happen if they let you stay together.

Okay, I am in the same boat as you Vince. I happen to really like a 13 (14 in September) year old girl. I am 17. She feels the same way about me too (which helps :-P)

Anyway, her step-dad hates me, cause we've been caught doing 'stuff' but her mum seems to be on our side. But we arent meant to be more than friends. (like that stops us)

The other thing with my girl, she is Christian, so that kinda limits what she can and can't do, and not just on a sexual level.
