Default transexuals?

Ok, I rarely come to this forum so if this is a very common topic please excuse me. Also note this is a serious question, I'm certainly not trying to spam or anything.

Ok, why is it that transexuals in their normal day to day life dress and act like women? Wouldn't being a man be obvious? Think about it, from the time they were born until they hit puberty they thought they were a boy, then when they began to form boobs, why wouldn't they just tape them down, live with having man boobs, or have them removed? I would think that if they had them removed, it would be a simple operation that would leave them looking and being a normal guy.

So why the switch to dressing like a female? They have Adam's apples, and as far as I can tell the only female thing is the boobs. Do they have normal male amounts of testosterone, and estrogen, or do they have an excess of estrogen, and that is why they get the boobs in the first place, and so they feel more like a woman?

Please excuse me if my knowledge of transexuals is quite wrong, the only real source of knowledge I have on them is from random porn banners, but I've never seen a link that said a guy with boobs they always say chicks with dicks.

From what I understand, the boobs often come as a result of an operation. Or they're simply not there. Just padding. It's quite rare that a guy will sprout boobs and start dressing like a chick

I think you're talking about hermaphrodites. When a person is born with both sets of genitalia, the doctors usually will keep the set that's more prevalent. However, as the child grows older, sometimes their genitalia doesn't match their psyche. Meaning, one has the thinking patterns of a female but a penis or vice versa. Most people tend to consider themselves the gender that they are in their head. There is a scientific way of finding out one's gender through cat scans (I believe).

Which brings us to transexuals. Sometimes females are born into male bodies. They act like a girl throughout their childhood and are very feminine. As they get older they prefer to match their body with their gender by taking hormones and getting the surgery, it makes them feel whole.

Sometimes who we are physically doesn't begin to depict who we are on the inside. Imagine how mch worse it would be if you were gender confused. It's just much simpler for one to have parallel physical and mental qualities than conflicting ones.

I would also like to point out that the desire to be the other gender is not neccicarily related to which you are attracted to either. Some men become women, but remain attracted to women, or women will become men and remain attracted to men.

alot of transexuals believe they are, in the case of men, a woman trapped inside a man's body and it feels wrong to them that they look like a man.

so they pop the oestrogen pills and grow tits...get operations done to alter them, etc.

it's a psychological thing.

in most cases it is a physiological thing, the brains of transexuals often resemble more closely the brains of the gender that they assosiate with.

Hmm. I should become a lesbian.

Well, it'd be a good idea if I wouldn't make a horrendously ugly lesbian.
