We're thinking of getting some lube for in the bedroom(duh). Now I know to get water based, and a few other things, but what sort of stuff should I be looking out for, and what sort of store would be the best place to buy it?

If you'd just like something that gets the job done, most drug stores carry KY and Aqua Lube, or similar brands.

Are there "adult" store in your area? There you'll find the fancy (colorful, glittery, flavored, "warming") fancy stuff. But it's really not worth the trouble.

Water-based as opposed to petroleum jelly, yes. And I agree with the astro-glide recommendation, as it may also be available next to the KY and Aqua Lube at any drug store.

Astro glide and KY really are great things, and its available in stores where you can go at 16. You should always go for water based. Theres the whole thing with the condoms, but also if its going in her body, something water based rather than petroleum based is a nice gesture, right?

Make sure you get lube and not spermicide. Nonoxyl-9 is known to hurt a girl if it's used a lot.

I know KY jelly and Astroglide is available at Target and Walgreens. Just so you know here to look, lube should be near the condoms and medicine.

its really worth it if she is tight, or if you are going to go at it for quite a while. Or if you are trying any larger toys, or anal. But if she is loose and usually wet enough, and you dont want to go for a long time, its not entirely necessary

Lube is a neccessity for anal. If you plan on travelling the dirt road soon, def invest in some.

Lube can be great if she's on the 'dry' time of month. But if you put too much she might not get as much pleasure. The friction is what feels good.

Try it out. It doesn't cost that much. If you decide you don't like it than you get some beating lotion.

For a while I was using veggy oil (all natural ), but I wasn't using condoms either. We don't usually bother with lube at all, but since I have an all nighter in the plans soon, I better get some myself.
