Anyone like having sex with the lights on?

I always thought it seemed kinda artificial, but the right lights (candles, mellow lamps) are downright inviting. Harsh overhead lighting, especially fluorescents, are awful.

Daylight is always nice, too.

Unless it's sex with a stranger, in which case: lights off, no talking.

lights on sometimes. its really nice to have lights on every once in a while. You can watch them, watch their face, and gaze at them...thats for nice slow stuff...if its fast or heavy, it should be lights off. And the lights off, no talking, shirts on...hooray for that.

I like light during sexual activity, probably because my fiance is drop dead gorgeous and its a REAL turnon just to watch him when we're doing it. I also like the lights on when I'm blowing him because I love checkin out his package. I'd say dim to normal light is fine, I really hate overhead lights in general, hate them even more for sex... but its better than pitch dark.

not totally on, the best atmosphere would be with the lights dimmed... in the form of a lamp.

Never gave it much thought. I probably have sex more in the daytime anyway so I have no control of the darkness factor. Unless we're in a closet?

I've never worried about turning the lights on or off when we star getting it on. If they're on they stay on, if they're off, well, you get the point.

When I'm in a special mood and want to get dressed up, I'll make sure there is light so he can see me. Whether it be candles or a lava lamp, I usually keep it dim. Plus, I'm narcissitic and have mirrors all over the place, you can't see the reflection if it's dark!

And then there's the times when I'm blindfolded, then it really doesn't matter.

for me, it's however the lights are to begin with. i personally like lights on, so i can look a my girlfriend (she's really gorgeous) and see the look on her face. on or off, doesn't really metter to me.

Is there some bonus to doing it in the dark?

^^Oh, it's not about ugliness or grossness. A bit of anonymity can sometimes spice things up, when you've done it enough times the traditional (naked and visible) way.

And the shirts on thing...reminds me of clandestine teenage sexual encounters in the car, where it wasn't always possible to take everything off.

Blacklight? SWEEEEET idea!! I have a dual 4foot tube blacklight I built for $30, 80watts of blacklight makes damn near anything glow... I can think of some fun things to do with that...
