Overprotective
I'm overprotective of my girlfriend. If someone shouts get your tits out to her as were walking down the street ill be overcome with anger, but then at the same time if someone says something offensive to me about her ill also go off on one. Im also jealous as fuck and ive been trying to get over this also, but i cant do anything about it. I really piss myself off somethimes. I think i got issues. Would anyone else recommend a councillor for me? Im a lil drunk at this moment, and i realise i got problems

Re: Overprotective
lol, as long as you trust her...try gathering your thoughts when u sober up.
Also, 'get yer tits out' is like our way of saying...wow mate your really lucky, your girls well fit!
jealousy is natural but if your worried, just make sure u dont start on anyone bigger/blacker than u.

i get horribly upset when anyone says anything disrespectful to any girl. that's how it should be. people these days need to learn some respect for women.

Re: Overprotective
My theory is don't sink to their level. But if they touch your girl, kill em'. But words are just words.

Re: Overprotective
Please don't confuse being "overprotective" with being "jeolous"!! Almost every girl (even excessively independent ones like me) LOVE it when the guy goes out of his way to be "overprotective"!! It makes my self esteem soar high, and I feel good toward the guy even if he's not hot in any other way!! But a guy who is JEOLOUS is totally scary and disgusting to me. The guy who is protective of me, is doing it for ME!! The guy who is Jeolous, is doing it for HIMSELF!! It's a selfish and ugly thing for him to do. If he hears some other guy say I'm fine (whatever, or however he says it), I'm not going to respond to the comment, and the guy I am with should just smile, and take it like cool and happy, because HE has ME....the other guy DOESN'T (and WON'T EVER)! If he gets jeolous, then I just want to dis him and escape. Love, Venus.

Re: Overprotective
I think that everyone is naturally a little bit protective of the things that they love. The key is to not let jelousy blind you and cause this to get to the level of being overprotective. Yes you should defend and support your girl friend. But getting upset everytime someone says something rude will only drive you crazy. To me if someone tells my fiance "show us your boobs" or something stupid like that. I take it as a compliment becasue they think that she is attractive. However if they keep on persisting to bother her and harass her then I will step in and put a stop to it.
Take Care,
Kangy

Re: Overprotective
If someone disrespects your girl and you get pissed, you're normal.
If someone chats up your girl when you're not around, is well-mannered, doesn't fuck with her at all, and you get pissed, then you most likely have a jealousy problem.

Re: Overprotective
Some girls might like comments like "get your tits out"!!! I think you should only get angry if you notice that these comments are actually bothering your girlfriend afterall she might like the attention.

Re: Overprotective
All women pretend to be offended and might even give you an evil look or something, but a lot of women are actually secretly flattered that they were noticed.

Re: Overprotective
They might be secretly flattered, but if your girl gives some guy the evil eye for that and you don't do shit, then you look bad (unless you know your girl will get more pissed if you go after the guy). The only way you do nothing, not even a staredown, is if she handles the situation herself by blasting the fucker into next week.
This goes for all friends, btw, not just girlfriends.
