 Don't change your email address!
I think this is worthy of its own thread, since I've gotten a number of emails on this very subject.
When you change your email address in your profile, ubb will automatically reset your password and email it to that new email address. The problem is that our mail server is still down, thus you will NOT get your new password and you will be locked out of your account.
If this does happen, you'll have to wait until the mail server is repaired (you'd have to ask Jeff about a timeframe for that) before you can get your password back via http://www.totse.com/bin/bbs/Ultimate.cgi?action=lostpw
So please, don't change the email address in your profile unless you're willing to wait.

Actually, I got the mail server pretty much working on Tuesday night, but it was still working its way through the backlog of queued and deferred mail on Wednesday. I just ran a test and got it to mail me my password at a non-totse address, so it appears to be working again.
I still need to set up a POP/IMAP server so I can download read the mail that's being sent to me.
I'll turn registrations back on now.
