Rotating Mods in SG
We all know that the mods in SG get burned out really fast and the admins have come up with a solution to the problem. Rotation. We will be rotation the mods through SG every 3 months. Every mod that is rotated into SG will be a mod that all ready has another forum. We will NOT appoint new mods just for this purpose.

Don't hurt me for this, , but in that banner that's occasionally up on the top right corner of the In Group of ToTSE, which one is you? And which one is Zok? And who's the asian guy? Because I reckon we need an asian admin.
And yeah, I saved the picture to my computer for future references.

Those are all mass-murderers. Someone posted a complete list a while back, but I know one of the guys is Pol Pot.

I think it's a full rotation. In fact i'm almost sure of it, i've pmed acidmelt though; i'll edit with his reply.
arx_
<arx_> acidmelt, is SG's rotation full, or just the fourth mod?
<acidmelt> full rotation
It's a full rotation, i'm going to miss your regular close messages, for the record - the abortion thread close was a classic

Thanks.
I hope they don't rotate us all at once... if not, that means I might have nine months left.

Seriously. Just give it a fucking rest. You've asked to be a mod (or suggested it) like a thousand times and not once has an admin or mod said they think you should be a mod. It's not going to happen.

My thoughts exactly. .
I started out modding SG, and I haven't been put in any other forums since then, so you'll have to either give me another forum so that the rotation will work, or de-mod me for months at a time. .

Re: Rotating Mods in SG
absolutely no mod will be demodded, just moved to another forum for a cooling period. SG eventually burns out every mod thats in there and we dont want that (well besides Snoopy, I think he thrives on that kind of shit lol). Its not fair to the site, the members, or the mods. All the mods here do a fantastic job and I dont want to see anyone lose their mind. But yes all mods will be rotating every so often in that forum and not all at the same time.

Why not just rotate until you have 4 active mods? And when will you get some new mods? Seeing the same ones gets boring.

So every mod gets a three month tour of duty in Sierra Golf. Tough job, but everyone here salutes you for your courage. Someday they might have to call on us regulars for reinforcments, but we'd have to be completely overrun by the n00bish army for that to happen.

So the Mods on the rotation list will continue to moderate their "home forums" while moderating SG? Or will they be removed from their home forums during that 3-month period?

Right now SG is going fucking crazy. From what I can tell it's kate and agruntjaggon(sp?) is helping her. Probably some of the worst spam I've seen. Where are you, admin? We are in need of your super powers!
edit: kate and grunts aren't the ones spamming, they are the ones trying to clean it up. Just thought I'd make that clear.
