how long do i need to wait before i eat solid foods after gettiny my tongue peirced? also, is it okay if i smoke too, i have listerine that i rinse with, so ill use that before and after i eat, if i can.

Do whatever your piercer told you. If you didn't go to a pro or he didn't give you any advice, you made a bad coice.

yea i have been eating solid food. i got pierced three days ago, i also want to know if i can ever eat the same again, im "careful" when i eat now because i always get the barbell caught.

im curious, when they say don't smoke, is it refering to smoking anything, or just tobacco? mainly im asking is smoking marijuana ok then? i dont plan on getting pierced but i've been curious about this

I got my tongue pierced a year ago, and i waas fine to eat a whataburger with cheese on the fourth day! Smoking and drinkin will keep your tongue swolen longer, so it whatever you wanna do, but eat dude EAT!

Although its common to say after you get your tongue piecired you need to relearn to eat, slightly true. But not really, the main thing that is giving you problems is that, well, your tongue is sore, tender and tired, becuase THERES A FUCKING HOLE IN IT...

For smoking, it only takes a couple weeks to heal, so I woulnd't suggest smoking weed (although if I had some weed to smoke I probally woudl have gone ahead anyway...)
Tobbacco and all the adictives in it could be a problem though.
I think it probally has something to do with how the heat and residue would not help the healing process.

I got my lip pierced and went home and did a fat hit off my bong!! smokin hasn't affected that in any way and you don't feel that much pain. it's all good !!!
