has anyone noticed...
I have to respect this nation and the resons it exists for life liberty and pursuit of happiness) I feel that teh perversion of America has come from the ignorance of the populace coupled with the conditioning of the general massess. the world is corrupted, of that there is no doubt, either we pull our heads out of our asses and actually make a difference or go to hell in a handbasked tied with a pretty pink bow. all details aside, there is nothing more to say, we the peopel allowed this to happen so we must now make a difference in the hope of a better world.
Do your homework PEACE

So do many other countries, your point is what, that we should attack Iraq because of that? Don't get me wrong, i have my own reasons for wanting the US and Britian to attack Iraq, but i don't use stupid phases like 'they've violated UN resolutions', like the US ever really gave a shit about the UN, they only use it when it is in their benefit. Most of you who know me are probably worried about the hostility against the US at the moment, but it isn't, just against the stupid people hanging around here.

Saddam is evil, that's why he should be removed, in my opinion. I use that as an example. I could give two shits about his Anti-Americanism, except his habit of giving money to Palestinian terror.

Sharrons also evil, but you still remain their protectors (Israel). They conviniently use the word "terrorist" now as an excuse to "liberate" the Pallistine people from their bondage. Like most propaganda its full of shit.

Re: has anyone noticed...
I concur. Sharon must have been doing cartwheels on 9,11. Use the word 'Terror' and you instantly have complete American support for kicking towelhead ass.
Bush says he supports 'Middle East Peace'. If so what does he think Israil is using American gunships for. Funrides?
Spot any Hypocrasy?
The notions of right and wrong, good and evil are merely tools of mass manipulation. In the first world war we were informed that "Germans eat Belgian babies and rape anything in a skirt"
Now we have "Saddam is building nukes and he's coming after us", and "saddam supports terror and lets face it the ugly raghead probably had something to do with 9/11, we just cant prove it yet"
There was no factual evidence behind the now accepted propoganda of the first world war. I very much doubt there is any behind the propoganda you are being fed now. Before a population will support a war, they must be convinced to fear and hate their adversary. Nukes = fear. Warcrimes = hate.
In every war there a justification for conflict. It rarely coincides with why we are told war is justified. Who wants to believe they are fighting for money? People like to imagine that they are on the "good" side, kicking "evil" ass. Im afraid the only struggles of good versus evil in this world are waged by 8 year old boys, and the only casualties are plastic. Sadly, deep down most of us never grow out of this mentality.

the man with one eye is always evil  Of course, the Palestinians are killing innocent Israelis, but that's okay, because It's for a good cause.

Notice that this post was long dead, and now Since someone of you same ideals shows up, you do also. So I see you are pretty much a second banana.

Re: has anyone noticed...
DD and Hellis,
I'm not trying to put you folks into coronary arrest, but I dislike Sharon as much as you two seem to. Arafat, Sharon, and Began are all pure and simple terrorists. Unfortunately history will also use the word leader as an adjective to glorify these thugs. One relatively recent bonehead manuever that Sharon pulled was that trip to the Temple Mount. That (along with multiple other humongously moronic stunts) can't even be rationalized as political. These acts are nothing short of antagonisms intended to incite. And incite they have. If I were King I would have all three hung (too late for Began) at sunrise. But then, I guess it's good that I'm not King.

Re: has anyone noticed...
Bush is going after Saddam because no one else will. Clinton said we should back in 1998, but if you look at what he says in 2002, he says a bunch of crap.
Simply put, Saddam gassed the Kurds, violated all U.N. resolutions, and stole the food for the Food For Oil program. The U.N. has no authority anymore, and that is not Bush's fault. They are still talking this weapons inspector crap, and we've had it. Clinton should have handled this crap but he didn't.
Weapons inspectors are a joke to Saddam, there are so many ways around it. Once he gets his grimey little hands on a nuke he will use it.

What, out of the kindness of his heart? You don't think that its because he will then, as the terms he put forward to the world a little while back says, have control of 'any and all of Iraq's oilfields' even after they have elected a puppet ruler. Read his terms before saying that he is doing this as a duty to the world. Now, i don't know whether Saddam is a threat or not, and probably won't ever know, as after Bush has finished bombing the shit out of the place, i am sure we will hear 'conclusive evidence' saying that saddam was a reincarnation of the devil or some such shit. Not condoning Saddam's actions, both real and alleged, nor his extremely tenuous link with sponsored terror attacks, but you can' tell me that Bush is invading iraq and keeping their oilfields forever just out of the kindness of his heart.
