9/11, 2002
I want to know how you guys think 9/11, 2002 will be handled in memorial terms. Of course most schools will be canceled. But do you think the videos will be overplayed on TV? Will there be like 1000 'moment of silences'? I wanna know HOW you THINK it should be handled, and how you think they're GOING to handle it.

Re: 9/11, 2002
They should unveil plans for much bigger World trade centres with beautiful statues marking the bottom of the building were the public could visit whenever they like. A statue should also be built in each country, which lost people in the attack reflecting their culture. A short respectful procession should be held on anniversary day followed by a street party celebrating western prosperity and recovery in the face of attack. In my eyes the tearful display that will take place is exactly what the attackers would have loved to see. I feel justice will not be done here.

We should not do what the terrorists want us to do. Fear. We should continue on, and pay our respects to those who died.

Re: 9/11, 2002
"We should not do what the terrorists want us to do. Fear." yeh gotta love that. the phantom terrorists wouldn't want to disrupt work or school, just continue on with your normal pathetic useless lives until you die. the terrorists don't want that. who the fuck knows what the terrorists want anyway. on one hand, they are portrayed as brainless physcos with no plan or even motive, and on the other they are supercalculating killers who have everything all planned out years in advance. maybe the pentagon should decide what these people are and stick with it.
like it or not, people were scared shitless by all that and still are. youve got more chances of being killed by the police than phantom terrorists.
i still can't belive that people belive some of the shit that the state is spouting. these 'terrorists' are just being used to toy with peoples emotions for the governments gain. it was just used as a new method to weed out people that arent wanted. they push new laws through (even torture warrants) and anyone who disagress is just slagged off until they quit or are forced out. is that want the terrorists want, the nation fearing opening thier mail while the government gorges itself in new powers and rules? they wanted to fuck america over, and i think that they did it.

Re: 9/11, 2002
I plan on either working all day or renting 12 movies and watching them all in a row so I don't have to see any annoying ass tributes on TV. The people are dead, it was tragic, but let them rest in peace, all the tributes that need to be done have already been done 13 times.

I plan on coming home from a long night in the radar shed, cracking open a case of Red Stripe beer, and watching John Q and Conan the Destroyer
