i could be incorrect about this but at the olympic games there are security points that are setup before you enter the events. these points have lines of thousands of people and it was estimated that people would wait in line for over three hours for most events. now if there are this many people outside of the search point then why would a terrorist have to even sneak weapons into an event? a bomb could easily be detonated at the check points and kill hundreds (depending on its size). this security seems a bit self defeating to me.
