Default Bush's Set Up!

In a way I Appluad Bush's new stand on Terrorism that he made in a speach yesterday.

But at the same time you know its setting us up for a much larger War Campaign. One in which North Korea, Iraq and Iran will be a part of. I think the USA could still roll into Iraq and Iran with little resistance but North Korea is gonna be supported by China and China is not the country to fuck with.

in what way do you like bush's speech? (as if he wrote it anyway, but thats another thing). he is trying to eliminate all his enemys at once, not a smart move for someone who relys on war and fear to keep control. he has on reason now to march into those countrys now than he did 5 years ago. he needs to realise that bombing a country does not make peace. it may in the very short term, but people get resentful and angry, and strike back in a way like S11. america may have forgotten the vietnam war and iraq and cambodia, but i guarantee that the people who lost limbs or loved ones do not.

Im not liking bush to much. just thought he showed some backbone. fuck North korea (Even though they scare me a bit) they are the only Nation now next to china and japan that has a long range missle that can hit the USA. With their missle and China's nukes North Korea is the biggest threat to national security. I agree with you, Maybe it was stupid to do what we did. You know how north korea is.. They love to push shit the the edge. Iran and Iraq will soon be a Global Threat. I say defuse those situations now.

Now as for Bush he is still a prick in my eyes. Yes I voted for him because the thought of Al Gore Running Amerika skare Me Bad... vewy vewy bad.

Now there is new evidence that Bush has lied about our economy being worst then it really is making this the first scandal since the voting polls. But i wont comment on that until it unwraps on his ass. Fuck all politicians i just want a leader who shows some backbone thats all.

and they say history doesn't repeat itself every thirty odd years.

I know for a fact some of you are shitting yourselves for no reason. I'd much rather be alive now than during the cuban missile crisis.

This is childs play compared to that.

that was a scarey scarey time. but you know what was worst then the missle crisis? Soviet Power during the reagan years. The soviets had a little accident in which they almost unloaded a nuke on us from a submarine just 800 miles off of our coastline

they were able to stop it at the last moment. Both the soviet and former governemtn officials declassified this information in the early 1990s when Janet Reno joined Clintons klan. She also declassified several experiments the Government did on people in the San Francisco area during the 1940s and early 60s on school children. Spraying unknown chemicals on schoolkids. No wonder San Francisco has 4 times the nations Prostate and Breast cancers.

Congratulations John Howard!

For once your leadership has decided to show some backbone and not be swept along with the moment!

Australia's stance of distancing themselves from a slow witted, verbaly incompetant cowboys views of 'big red button' world politics is one that should be followed by other 'peace loving nations'.

The sooner George W. Bush relises that the world is not a giant game of risk, the sooner they can stop pissing contries and the sooner they can stop fueling hatred against themselves.

Apart from being comunist and possesing nuclear and biological weapons, can someone please explain what North Korea has actualy done to be labeled a terrorist? America maintains stockpiles of chemical, biological and nuclear weapons. They orgonise and carry out state ordered assaination - if anyone wants to argue it read the autobiography of Roy Boehm 'The first SEAL'. America also 'arms themselves with missilses and weapons of mass destruction while their people starve'. What criterea, appart from being communist, does North Korea fulfil towards being terrorists? It sounds like the US is just as 'dangerous a state'.

If you want to get started on irresponsible, self serving actions; take a look at the Geneva convention signitories. America, after coaxing every other major player into signing the amendments to it, refused them selfves to do so. The effect:
+ They have no legal necissesity to not stockpile chemical arms
+ They have no legal necissesity to not stockpile biological arms
+ They have no legal necissesity to not deliberatly target schools, churches and hospitals.
=Infact they have no necessity to follow any of the humane conventions that they theaten other states for.

In summary, Australia has relations with North Korea. We have both exchanged embasies. South Korea and North Korea are opening up to each other more and more each day with the south's 'Sunshine policy'. America fits the guise of a terrorist state, just as much as North Korea -oops, except i forgot, North Korea didn't bow down and let themselves become a base for US G.I.'s looting and raping villagers.

Finaly, Stay the fuck out of Korea Bush, or a least until you understand world politics is a little more complex than 'them not us, them equals terrorist'

Default Re: Bush's Set Up!

I saw him make part of his speech on the news. His war is now going to expand much farther then some other powerful nations will want it to. Nations such as Russia, China and not to mention Most if not all Islamic countries will not be too impressed If the conflict escalates too far beyond Aphganistan (who by the way has started their poppy fields growing again), and even Iraq. These countries may not appear to be too friendly at the present, but they are bound by religion. In these desperate times all it will take would be some type of carrismatic leader that will influence these countries to ally themselves and wage a real jihad agaist the western world. Remember Islam is still waiting for their Messiha (I know it spelled wrong, please forgive me) to appear. The current situation would make it easy for a smart con man to pull the wool over their eyes and innitiate the real thing. Russia and China are very dangerous countries to mess around with, China especially. They wouldnt want The Americans nosing around too much close to their countries. I dont think that the leaders of those countries are to friendly towards George Bush and his methods. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia has become pretty desperateso a small sparck can cause a big fire.

Bush says that they are aiming at the terorists but what now makes these countries any more dangerous now than they were 6 months ago?
He want everyone to drop what theyre doing and commit forces now and swiftly to help stamp out his thorns. America has been enemies with these countries for a long time and all he is trying to do now is to create world peace. World peace by destroying every regime that does not admit the infallibility of the US. He is using the blood fueled momentum gained from the destruction of one regime to move onto another enemy. We say the same thing happen when in the first few days after S11, US parlaiment huuried through a bill that classes hacking as domestic terrorism on a wave of terrorist paranoia. He is now using the same sort of public support to attack his enemies across the globe.
How long will his brain numb, hitleresque war machine carry on? Until enough young americans loose their lives that the public begins to sting?
If he is so serious about wiping our countries who 'arm themselves ... while their people starve' they why does he go after Khadafi in Lybia or is it that the pentagon cant handle two wars in the one area? What about Castro in Cuba? Or would that make it hard to detain 'illegal combatants'?
Again back to North Korea, in recent years they have done little more militarily than kill south korean commandos trying to infiltrate their country to commit acts that could be classed as terrorism. This is not to say that North Korea does dont the same or that either side is wrong. All it says is that the determining factor as to what a terrorist state is seems to rely on its alliance with the US.
Bush, like a somewhat dimmer Hitler, is leading a nation on a quest that he himself has no real urge to attain. All he wishes to be remebered as is Bush 'The Great' for wiping out so many of the US's enemies. He is randomly selecting a not democratic country and aunching on a mission to destroy it. In doing so he places the lives of many US soldiers in danger all for another war with no goal -remind you of Vietnam. If he realy wants to remove enemies from his list, take a leaf out of John Howards book and note the way we have gotten China, Veietnam, North Korea and to a lesser extent Cuba on side. Its through diplomacy. Then again, I'm not entirely convinced a president who has enough trouble reading his prepared speaches would be able to cope with off-hand diplomacy.
