okay, bin laden supported the attacks of S11 (and was meant to have 'masteminded' them, although i don't belive that for a second.). so what?
i mean, my sypathy for all those kiled and their families, but innocents have been killed by most nations for a long time. the innocent death toll from the 'war' in afganistan is about 3000. i hear no outcry for them, i see no vigils, i hear no words against bush. they are passed off as collateral damage, as bin laden would pass off the deaths of S11. i know that the innocent toll was so high because of the placement of bases by the soviets (in metro areas to prevent sudden attacks), and the indescriminate use of cluser bombs and sub atomic bombs, but that is no excuse.

oh, but i forgot, bush is fighting for america (or 'freedom'), and bin laden is fighting for his religion, so he is evil. no, worse than evil, he is what is wrong with the world personified. it hardly seems fair. one fucker can kill and be celabrated, while another fucker, just as bad, is demonised, hunted down and executed. how about the term as bad as bush?

arms and money to rebels from Dagestan and Islamic extremists from other islamic countrys (based in Chechnya)
not chechens! that this time chechnya was corroped and still fighting pro Russian backed rebels and gangs who where running free around the Republic. now these rebels tryed to take over Dagestan but where flashed out by the russian army, who blamed only chechens rebels for this attack. bombing attacks of apartment buildings in Moscow and Volgodonsk gave russian the ression to take back the defacto republic.
when Russia pulled out of chechnya in the first war they said that they will help pay to rebuild the country, but did they no. thats when terrorists, gangs, and the mafia ran free. g wiz this is what happen to Afghanistan in a way. funny that.

I don't back the russians because of their ability to terrorize.

I respect the fact that they are one of the only countries to produce weapons that can match american weapondry. I back them because they answer to no-one. They are still a power in their own way. You'll see this by the way the americans and British get slightly worried when the russians say they're not happy with something we're doing.

Not many countries stick up for themselves now, (not even us british) yet the russians are prepared to go against anyone to protect themselves or their interests.

I respect that and thats why i back what they're doing.
