December 7, 2001
Sixty years ago we put our enemies (suspected and otherwise) in Californian camps, now we ask for them to spend a few extra minutes at the airports to make sure they don't want to kill us.

Two steps forward, one backward. It's always been the way. Who says we aren't making progress.

Re: December 7, 2001
Japanese never played fair. they never respected the Geniva convention laws (If i got that right). The germans did. Germans treated Americas, French and British as well as anyone else fairly. They were treated like prisoners of war and not slaves like the Japanese did. The Japanese would rape british and american women in their camps. they had death marches. You might say what the fuck does that have to do with Japanese internment Camps we had in America? Nothing.. but i wanted to point out we treated Japanese Americans a little better then Americans were treated in Japan. I know Japanese were citizens but you now can see how scared our grandparents were when we were fighting Japan. I bet you any amoung of money that 1 in 1000 or 5000 japanese would have been a spy for the Japanese Government. We went a bit to far putting them in prison. we even took their homes and belongings and never compinsated them. but remember this was 1940s. The laws were pretty fucking harsh in those days. I dont think we would treat arabs or muslims that way. and i dont believe we should put them in camps. Im just saying dont feel bad if we have to deport some of them.
I have to edit this. I know you're gonna comment about Germans treating Jews poorly. But that was the SS not the German Army. The SS were like the CIA for Germany. but most prisoners of war were treated very well. believe it or not many were in minimum security enviorments. unlike you see on Hogans Heros some prisoners of war were allowed to go fix fences or rail tracks with very little supervision. I dont know if they were Americans or Brits but it did happen.

Re: December 7, 2001
Thanks witch. I remember reading about this. We done exactly the same to the germans in 1939.
You're right, the SS were the ones who committed 90% of the attrocities on the Jews, Russians etc. The troops that guarded the camps were usually from the SS Totenkopf division (they were the ones with the skull and crossbones for their caps), although later on as the war progressed they started transferring the german soldiers who were cowards of military prisoners to these camps as punishment. Thats why most of what happened there did, because the guards either voluntered or were there because they were the scum of the SS and german armies.
The only instance i can think of where german and british troops were prisoners together was Ireland. This was because Ireland were neutral in the war and if they picked up downed pilots from either side they went to the same camp. They even let them go into the local towns together.
Does anyone know of any other places this happened?

Re: December 7, 2001
Throughtout World War Two there was NEVER a Japanese American spy. Ever. The camps were simply an intollerable act of racism, but what you'd expect from a tyranical American president.

Oh, I was just guesssing...
I saw "brought to you by ignorance" said by Lokil and "------------------ Brought to you by delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol" at the bottom so I jumped to a conclusion.
