Default good books to shape the mind with

as i have stated before, i'm only 15. And i know i occasionaly have shitty spelling, so the human spell checkers can click the 'back' button right now. What do you consider to be some books that you've read or are reading right now that are essential for the human mind?(and don't even go there with the 'you wouldn't be able to read it with your high school mentality' i read everything i can get my hands on.) If you could just type a short (or long) list I'd be a very happy hormonal nutcase. -sharon

Flatland and its' sequel, Sphereland.

Both very informative and somewhat amusing books on the "theory" of multiple dimennsions. And you get a quick lesson in geometry as well.

The Restaurant at the End of the Universe

The Reluctant Swordsman

Anything by Anne McKaffrey(probably misspelled)did the Dragonriders of Pern series

ISAAC ASIMOV!

Carl Sagan did some nice stuff

Marion Zimmer Bradley, Mists of Avalon

And, well sorry, just couldn't help myself

You are a very sad sad man, MR END. But your efforts are... appreciated. I'm sure I'll find that list very helpfull, seeing as in Alaska we have very few book selections and an even poorer education. note -do not read this MR END- for those of you who actually do live in Alaska I'm not saying you're uneducated. I'm actually making this up as i go. I'm sure you're all very very smart. Have fun ice-fishing and playing on those oil lines. -sharon
