once the brain takes damage, the person is dead. cells in the brain starved of oxygen die quickly. once they go, the person dies. there is little point of doing whatever to bring them back to life, the person is dead, even if they are moving.

i am not sure of the limit of the reptile brain, and what its capability is past heart rate and that shit. maybe if that part is preserved, even if the rest dies, you would have your zombie (ala resident evil), but there would be no movement, or senses, just a primitive brain inside a broken body.

the resident evil style zombie is all but impossible though.

There are a few drugs that can put a person in a zombielike state, leaving the without a will of their own.

It is commonly beleived that in Jamaca and other tropical countries that women are often abducted, and are subjected to this type of compound for use as prostatutes for the weekend. Wether or not this actualy occours up for debate.

Scientists can control a cockroach's leg movements via electronic equipment.

I think it would be possible to create a "cyborg" zombie by replacing the brain with a complex computer. Of course, a computer could never replace a brain, but it could be remotely controlled, or some very basic AI could be implemented into the computer.

Zombies are an interesting idea. I want to see how this post goes...

well, if you believe in necromancy and the occult and all that, it may be possible. There isn't much info on necromancy, however. It basically goes as far as the "Liber Logaeth: Al Azif."

In 7th grade science, we used a manually powered generator to pump electricity thru dead frogs leg muscles, causing them to contract, so if u made a VERY complex system, and installed into you cadaver, you coulde control the muscles, so thats a zombie

Not really. If you can repair the bodily damage was done right after death, you could replace the brain with a computer and have the computer send signals to the heart and what not to funtion which would in turn keep the body from wasting away.

That if the person was young when they died.

maybey, what if person a dies and his blood has a bit of momentum due to a fast heart rate so some of his brain get a a bit of oxygen for a split second before he dies, some of the cells die but not all of them. then a then through some action(itdosn't really matter) his heart starts back up and then person a is alive, a bit incoherent from the loss of some of his cells, but still a living thing. shit to shit chance of that happening though...

Umm frankenstien was sort of the right idea, just keep the brain working, but frankenstien was more of a reboot.
