Re: what are your best science fiction books?
Right now Neuromancer, but ultimately probably Dune. Seems like whatever I'm doing at the moment is the best. Oh well I'm like that.

Re: what are your best science fiction books?
the gunslinger series and enders game series are bout, good but I liked the foundation series and dirk gentlys holistic detective agency and long dark tea time of the soul more.

Re: what are your best science fiction books?
Any of the 'Known Space' books by Larry Niven.
The Gap Series by Stephen R. Donaldson
War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells [the book that got me started on SciFi back in '75, by the way]
The Forever War by Joe Haldemen (sp) [If War of the Worlds got me started, this one got me hooked]
The Forge of God & The Anvil of the Stars by Greg Bear
The Riverworld series by Philip Jose Farmer
SInce getting into SciFi I have always a large volume of books. These past 4 or 5 years or so I've averaged 2 to 3 a week, so there are a large number that were good. However, these stand out the best [along with several others already mentioned].
