144-148mhz Range

Theres access to numerous repeaters plus simplex in this band.

I just so happen to have a mint condition Yaesu FT-212RH for sale if you want to start up on 2 Meters.

All I can find for 2m antennas is the J pole & the quarter wave.
Surely there's some better 3/4 Wave designs out there

You should find the design you are after for basically every type Homebrew amatuer antenna.
