Re: Need frequencies for my Cheap Scanner
I've gotten DEA frequencies. Federal frequencies are the same all over the country.
The DEA stalks people in their everyday lives; from getting a haircut and eating to making drug deals. It is quite amusing to listen to.
Here's some I know:
FBI-
162.6375 163.9875 167.2125 167.2375 167.2875 167.4625 167.5625 167.6625 167.6875 170.0250 173.1500
DEA-
Ch 1 418.6250 Ch 3 418.7500 Ch 4 418.6750 Ch 5 418.8250 Ch 7 418.9750
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms-
Ch 1/3 165.2875 166.4625 Ch 2 166.5375 166.9250
Secret Service-
164.5750 Tango 164.6500 Oscar 164.8875 Mike 165.2125 Shared with Customs 165.2375 Charlie 165.3750 Surveilence 165.4875 Field office 165.6875 Baker 165.7875 November 167.0250 Foxtrot 415.7000 There are many more. Have fun.
P.S. I think it is illegal to talk directly about anything you hear on a scanner. Like specific stuff. It is okay to say, "I heard the DEA chopper's radio", but not, "I heard the DEA chopper and heard there was weed at x location" or "I heard the FBI stalking x person".
Oh well.

Re: Need frequencies for my Cheap Scanner
If you want to use those freqs just cut off the last digit. e.x. 433.0875 is the same as 433.087. the bandwidth is so great at vhf and uhf that you can be up to .1 mhz off and still hear it.
