AM or FM?
If you had a chance to broadcast on AM or FM, which would you pick? AM gets better distance, but it's more susceptible to interference and has lower quality.
I would go with FM, quality over quantity.

With SW, you get a significantly smaller listenership, due to the fact that most car radios and whatnot can't do SW.
I was listening to NPR the other day, and from what I understand, which is probably wrong due to my missing the first half of the interview, XM is rather costly and the businesses behind it aren't doing so hot.
Personally, I would want to go for listenership numbers. I think that FM is the best band for this.

FM, more people on the same level as me. or XM cuz the X is hardcore, but no one would listen since no one has XM radio's.
