weekend workday testicular fortitude
This is what i came up with this is in response toa real-life incident bla bla bla bla
i wake up, a few hours after i go to sleep. the new day beckons me it's up to me to make the most of it.
after i read the comics, in my bathrobe, while simultaneously eating my cereal, with milk that smells suspiciously of yogurt, i am ready for the new day.
i go thru my shampoo-shave-shower routine make myself presentable i have run out of deodorant so i hope that today's going to be a cool day. i hope that the hottie from marketing sits next to me during lunchtime and i dont want to mess that up by smelling icky.
its 9:00 i am on the subway and i need deodorant already. theres an old man standing next to me, he smells suspiciously of booze and vomit. he has dyed his hair black. but his stubble is white.
todays train seems very empty. i dont see the usual office throng. at first i think (half-jokingly) that my BO has repelled them i remember reading somewhere that the term Body Odour was first used in an ad for lifebouy soap. i remember using lifebouy as a child. my mom would make me use it ("Its good for your skin!!!") ("Yes I know it smells bad!!!") My mom used nice-smelling soaps. She had pretty good skin.
I almost miss my station. I walk the short distance to my office. The parking lot is very empty. I wish I'd driven down, i'd have gotten a pretty good place. The guy from security stares at me. As I walk up to the elevator. "Steven", that's what his name tag thingy says. he gets up from his stool and says "How come you're here on a Sunday?"
