You ever get so high
That you feel like you're sitting on a mountain of Jell-O?

And you look up into the sky
Trying to see an image of a giant Bill Cosby
But he never comes.

Or when you get high
does the sun remind you of
some pink and purple light bulb?

And after awhile
it gets annoying
But you can't find the switch.

Or how 'bout when you're high
And a statue waves at you
and you go to him and find out he cant talk?

Then you hang out with a bum
at the front steps of a gas station
You exchange 'Nam stories

But you were born in '83
and the bum starts crying
And you think "Shell-Shock is scary".

And you don't know what to do
When the gas station customers
Start leaving you money.

So what do you do?
You go home
and smoke a cigarette.

yeah and you get so high that you lock yourself in the toilet,and everything turns violet,and the light casts a real dim shadow,and your brain just turns to jello,and you scream out hello hello,but its all inside your mind,and you try to escape but you find,that the toilet is a prison and no poetry is allowed,so you softly cry to yourself and wait till you come down.....
