| Games People Play Games People Play is where to discuss personal computer, video game console, and arcade hardware and software - be it RPG, Sim, Strategy, Fighting, Action/Platform, or any other category. Although discussion of modern platforms/software will most likely dominate, discussion of classic videogame/computer hardware and software is always enjoyable, and certainly welcome - ESPECIALLY since there are public domain/shareware emulators of nearly every older computer/console available these days. Here's a taste of what awaits you: Nintendo-vs-Sega-vs-Sony, Console-vs-PC-vs-Mac, Hardware spec sheets/information, Industry news and discussion, Software reviews, IRC conference announcements/Reports, Emulators, Emulators, Emulators! ... and much, much more! |

Re: Challenge
thats not a challenge u just want someone to do it for u, but since im here ill give it a go . . . . . . . . . ... .. . ok im thinking u mean a dos game right? well i have a similar game (liero) as u all know it wont work on XP but if u disable the sound it will work, here are the instructions
1) find the exe file of that game 2) right click goto propeties 3) click on the program tab on the top 4) on the lines "cmd line" u should see something like C:\Liero\LIERO.exe 5) u simply change the line to C:\Liero\LIERO.exe /N 6) the /N command means disable sound and now it should run. (hopefully)
so i hope i helped if i havent then meh

Re: Challenge
No, If you right click on the program you can emulate win95 mode, and that should let you do it. AND keep the sound!
