Games People Play Games People Play is where to discuss personal computer, video game console, and arcade hardware and software - be it RPG, Sim, Strategy, Fighting, Action/Platform, or any other category. Although discussion of modern platforms/software will most likely dominate, discussion of classic videogame/computer hardware and software is always enjoyable, and certainly welcome - ESPECIALLY since there are public domain/shareware emulators of nearly every older computer/console available these days. Here's a taste of what awaits you: Nintendo-vs-Sega-vs-Sony, Console-vs-PC-vs-Mac, Hardware spec sheets/information, Industry news and discussion, Software reviews, IRC conference announcements/Reports, Emulators, Emulators, Emulators! ... and much, much more!

yes, but... MORTAL KOMBAT???
come on, what with the soul caliburs and street fighters and virtua fighters of the world, some people choose the lowly (and clearly poor-quality) MK? that just sucks.

I like MK deadly alliance...its a pretty great game, they've added a shitload of new features and some more realistic and fake stuff....but in my opinion, this game rules!!!

ahem-hem... Pssst

"hey, rok, ever heard of soul calibur? and virtua Fighter 4? or perhaps street fighter 3 3rd strike? maybe even marvel vs. capcom? how about dead or alive 2? oh, hey, and definetely Samurai showdown 2... come to think of it, almost every fighter is better in terms of gameplay and style than MK."

"now, don't you look silly."

no, unfortunately. but then, besides the games (i don't play as much as I used to, I haven't got time) I have to worry about work and making money and things, and then there's this infatuation I have with european automobiles... or is true love? I don't know. but really, I haven't got time to go out and meet girls.
