as i scrolled through all of the subjects i expected to be the 1203891 person to say "counter-strike", suprisingly i didnt see any, i used to play this game and it satisfied my need for gaming for a while, but i havent played it in a while, just wondering if anyone else played it or plays it

my personal view is that CS is far too
unrealistic...

how could you survive multiple shots from
rifles ?

the p90 uses armor piercing ammunition...
in CS it cant even shoot through door...

you get shot by a AWP in the leg...
you dont seem to slow down...

you can survive a HE grenade...

you survive a fall from the 3rd storey...

CS kind of sucks with the unrealistic setting
and unrealistic weapons...


+ sometime idiotic wall-hackers...

Americas Army was fun for about 4 minutes.

It's not realism that makes CS so great. It's the fast & simple gameplay. And well balanced weapons. I think CS has the best balanced weapons system of all games. The weapons might not behave very realisticly, but all weapons in the game are usefull. Something games like Q3A or UT Don't have. The thing that makes CS suck are the cheaters.

Fuck the wellblaenced wepons! all the "pros" jsut go to ct to buy the colt adn tehn say there good. thats why i hate cs so much. you can even run pple over with the cars it is a cheesy game. adn some poeple that play it dont have livs and are usally "azn" .

Well-balanced? Sure, as long as you're not playing against someone who's good with that damn Arctic...

True, but on most good servers, you can't buy the AWP. There was this one server, when you bought an AWP, you had only 1 HP. I liked that feature.

cant wait for 1.6; finally new weapons. i think of CS as the tetris of FPS's so to speak. if you get on a good server you can play countless rounds without getting bored. but if you are on some crappy team-stacking lame server it gets old real fast.

edit: 1.3 was my favorite version. now it's stupid headshots and no jumping around a bunch.

CS is great for LAN parties, or if you find a good server online.

Desert Eagle? Affraid of using the SIG P228 aye? Or you just can't use it? n00b hehe

I own your ass with the p228. Fires 3x as fast as the Deagel and has almost the dubble amount of ammo, while still being very powerful & accurate. Deffinatley the best pistol.
