Personally I like all the strategy games that I've played so far but my favorite would have to be Kohan: Ahriman's Gift. It's a wicked war game based in the medieval times with wizards and demons and all sorts of cool shit.

starcraft OWNZZZZZZZZZZ i love the map editor and the coustom ones play on b.net and play like all these fucked up diff types ("Use Map Settings") IT ROCKS

StarCraft hands down. Most replay value for any game I have ever played, the Campaign Editor lets you make your own custom games, the races are individually unique yet balanced, lot of strategy and tactical element, and you can save replays of your matches and go back and watch them.

I've been enjoying Warlord's Battlecry 2 recently, awesome game.

all the command and conquer titles are hella fun

age of empires much better then starcraft...almost everybody that has played both of them likes age of empires more...red alert 2 is alright tho

AoE 2 is very very good. I've played Starcraft more, but only because it was the LAN game of choice. I'm curious about Warlords Battlecry 2 though.
