What the hell is wrong with this game? How come I can't jump while running? Why do I have to let go of the D-pad to do so? What he hell is WRONG with this thing?

I'm sorry, I just don't like my games to have screwy control. the first 3 marios let you jump whilst running, how come this thing won't? not being able really hampers the experience.

You sir, are an idiot. If you couldn't run and jump at the same time, the cape would be near worthless. Check the controller, it sounds like it has crossed wires or some shit like that.

hmm... Actually, this is emulation. I don't have a SNES, and getting one up here is like trying to look for a vintage ferrari...
But we all know that a rom isn't an imitation, it's the real game, and then I went and got SMB.3, and it won't let me run and jump either!!! these emulators SUCK!!!

Alright, new question: Is there a better emulator than zsnes? And for NES, I got NESticle (chuckle and gaffaw) and apparently it's the best there is. But the emulator gives out crap sound, and to suffers from "no run and jump" syndrome. Help me out, here!
PS. I told you, trying to find a SNES is nearly impossible, and Anyways I'm lazy to go search. also, I'm broke.

Why are you using ZSNES? I use SNES9x, and it works just fine. DOS based emulators should only be used on low end machines anyway...
