this forum suffers from some serious common sense issue. when you make a post please title it something appropriate rather than calling it "cool site" "a link" "can you help me find a site?" or whatever other obscure and non-descript title. if a post is about a guitar tab site call it "guitar tabs at mxtabs.net" not "cool music stuff".

it is a real pain in the ass to read the forums if you title you posts incorrectly or carelessly and you will get very few responses if it is titled something very general because most people don�t take the time to look at a post that doesn�t catch their attention (sorry but "kick ass site" isnt a real attention grabber).

i don�t want to have to delete posts in order to make this forum coherent so please put just a shred of effort into naming your post.

let people title there topics what they want, how is it hurting you? if you dont fucking like there topic dont post in it

Is there no way to re-title the misnamed posts?
Since you have to read them anyway, if you belive the name is inadequate, just change it. It takes 5 moment of your time. Not too much I hope.

and unfortunatly there is no way to change the title of a post once it has been posted. even if there was i wouldnt go through that because people want to be lazy and not take 5 moments of thier own damn time to make it right in the first place.

Hey Syphon, I think your thread was a little useless in the way that the people with common sense are already posting correctly. If someone hasn't got the intelligence or willingness to post nice titles in the first place, then this thread ain't gonna affect them much. Nice try though.

Dougy: Stop being a fucking asshole. You just got here. Syphon,(lets not even think about him as a person right now) has been here for something like 1.5 years. He's a mod. He's respectd by members of tose (except you of course, you don't seem to respect anyone). In the "food chain" so to speak, this puts him somewhere near the top..while you remain near the bottom (where you'll probably stay). Now, lets add in that syphon its a cool guy, he does his best for totse, and in this particular incident: he is right.

Am I being harsh? Perhaps, but after seeing Dougy continuously disrespect other totse members for no reason - and constantly post his little "another post for dougy" posts, I'm a bit sick of him.

Also, I'd just like to add that what syphon detonator said isn't just a good idea...its common sense!! Anyone who's been using internet forums for any time at all should at least have the sense to properly title their threads, especially in a forum like this.

You're lucky he even warns you, in the boards I've served as moderator/admin for in the past, if something isn't working..i delete it, simple as that. (This of course doesn't apply to all of those seemingly random PERL glitches that crop up in UBB from time to time. I have been tempted though)

Furthermore, quit with the multi-posting.

thats exactly right and when i start deleting your posts then YOU can deal with it. i dont want this forum to reach the point where things need to be deleted but if this trend continues i cant see much of choice. just be considerate and put two seconds of thought into the name of your posts and there will be no problem.

i dont want to be some kind of authoritarian asshole who deletes everything like many other boards do but i do want to keep the forum enjoyable. the only way to do that is to keep it coherent and on topic. i want people to post links and share things but if your going to you MUST do it with a little bit of consideration for the other board members.

do you guys really have the need to discuss with someone who wastes everyones time with his another post for fuckface tee hee love fagface ...?
