What does the NapCameBack software do?

The NapCameBack software is a simple, yet elegant solution to file filtering. It takes each of the MP3 files in your Napster directory and renames the file names so that your files cannot be easily monitored while being transferred across the Net. The renaming occurs through encryption, a process that results in the seemingly random reordering and replacement of characters in your song title. This does not damage your files in any way but does make them more private.

Within the NapCameBack Encoder you can still browse your files, create play lists and play music using the original file names even while the files remain encoded.

You can use Napster and her cousins just as you always have. However, if you cannot find the file you are looking for using a standard search string (Example: Metallica) you can enter the string into the NapCameBack software interface and receive an encoded version of the file name to search Napster with. That encoded version will allow you to trade files with all other NapCameBack/Napster users, just as you always have.

sounds like to much effort to me. i have a better solution.

ok, take an average person, who has about 15-20 friends. If each of you take it in turns to buy a cd then share it round (copy it onto your computer or whatever) then you on average pay only �12 for every 20th cd that you 'acquire' thats like 50p per cd, is that to much to ask? also that way u have a hard copy if it gets deleted. its not that much to ask

Hey Jo thats a brilliant idea m8 but the thing is finding up to 20 mates who share roughly the same taste in music eg: one of my mates likes Marylin Manson yet i hate him so i wouldent have one of his cds. Mustard cheers for that link m8 it looks really good so il give it a try. Im happy as long as i get something for free.

Find five people. That's still only $3 a CD, approximately.
