Look under poltergist(sp?)
They are usually a powerful being that can feed off of emotions(that was how they were explained to me) They like to play games and sometimes rearrange furniture. It wants to be noticed.

Not all the time. In most cases it has to do with teenagers because of the sheer emotional energy radiating out of them all the time.
Some people theorize that poltergiests have collected enough energy to do what they want on their own. Many people have experianced ghosts in their houses that move things around, push dishes off(and out) of counters and cabinets and explode lightbulbs for shits and giggles or maybe because they don't like the person in the house.<-- had personal experiance with that in my aunts house in AZ.
Some people think that is their way of saying hello and trying to be "part of the family".
