OK so ive read up a little bit on the 7 chakras, but how do i go about activating them? all the stuff ive read on the internet is not consistent with the other stuff.

enlighten me on what a chakra is, it sounds familiar

Okay, there is nothing consistent among the various chakra systems. Hawaiian shamanism, for instance, recognizes shoulder chakras, some other systems use palm of hand and feet chakras. Personally, I go with 7, mainly because of the significance of 7--7 days of the week, labors of Hercules, pleides, 7 dwarfs, etc. A chakra is a sort of energy center on the body, analagous to vortices on the planet.
