Zebra snails
A few years ago, Science News had an article about how the transplanted Zebra snails were clogging the plumbing in Cleveland. Some time later, there was another article about how the commercial fishing industry was making a comeback on Lake Erie. Ok biologists, did the unchecked mass of Zebra snails (no natural enemies in Lake Erie) help start to clean that great open cesspool?

Re: Zebra snails
The zebra muscles have moved to Lake Michigan. I can't remember what type of fish it was but they bred fish to eat off the zebra muscles.
