I had a talk with my mates the other day about fate.What does everyone else think. Does anyone know any theories or have their own ideas.
My own opinion is that everything we have done - we were always going to do it.
If's,but's, and maybe's are all abstract.
Only what is done exists.

well...i think 1st is to define "what is faith?"
does that mean that (like the arabians believe, with their so called 'kismet') evrything is pre-written and - destined ab. what u'r 'going to do' in u'r life ?

i rather hold it with the japanese....its all u'r own fault *grin*

its always up to u what happening to u...e.g. if u got hit by the Bus, well shit happened...who said u had to cross the street at THAT particular moment where the Bus sledded on the winter-morning ice on the road

sure...sooner or later u could get paranoid on that issue, 'cos "maybe the plane will stall and crash" when u'r going to enter u'r flight....so what ?
i live my life like it would be the last day...but reasonable...
i'm having sex couple times a day, eat what i want/like, etc. etc. - in short..ENJOY my life

Fate is signified by Schrodinger's cat effect. Basically, you are already dead to some extent.

Actually, schrodingers cat theory was intended to highlight (what he saw as) the stupidity of quantum mechanics.

Yes, Scrodinger's Cat effect was meant to show how stupid quantum physics are but it was glorified by Robert Anton Wilson, so basically Scrodinger's just made people like quantum physics more unless I'm the only one who read that book.

Just wanted to say thanks for not having been holed up doing who knows what for the last few whiles .
